clean eating, anyone?
I piked up Clean Eating magazine yesterday. I didn't realize but apparently that is what I have been doing since surgery. I pretty much only eat from the outer edges of the grocery store- meat, dairy, fruits, vegetables. I quit sugar since day one. I started to read up on sugar and substitutes and found that I do best to avoid both. I use agave nectar and stevia and it's strange bc they are just as good as the sugar. It's funny I've made changes that I couldn't make before surgery and I don't feel deprived at all. So I limit myself to healthy food and no more than 6 ounces at a time. I eat every 3 hours. Also in the back of the magazine is a 2 week food program if you like to have a plan to follow. The plan has more carbs than I usually eat. I am afraid of carbs only bc I was totally addicted to them prior to surgery. Just wondering if anyone else is following clean eating intentionally or unintentionally.
