Judy's Home - Thanks For Prayers

I think I posted sometime back a request for prayers for my WLS (VBG) buds Judy & Don in San Antonio (they accompanied me at the S.A. OH Event a couple of years ago)  ..  Don had just had major back surgery, and Judy was getting ready for brain surgery on her .. 

  Judy has a congenital disorder in which the opening where the spinal cord passes up into the skull/brain is slightly too narrow in diameter, causing mild pressure on the cord at that point.  Often it doesn't cause any problems or noticeable symptoms, but as the patient get older it can cause painful constant headaches and other neurological problems ..  Judy's condition had lately gotten to this point, and she decided to have the surgery ("craniectomy suboccci w/ cerv laminec for decomp medulla, spinal cord w/ dur grf") done at this time ..   

  Judy reports things went well (she missed their 9 "kids" = chihuahuas while in hospital) and this a.m. she finally got to go back home.  She reports she is getting "stronger and stronger".  Sounds like smooth sailing ahead for them ..
