Danni brought over this awesome little ice cream maker that goes with the Kitchen Aid mixer. You keep it in the deep freeze, and then mix the ice cream in it whenever....no ice and rock salt mess. She got it at Fry's for $50...so, of course, you KNOW where Jon and the kids are right now. Fry's is his favorite store anyway, and now he gets ice cream too...LOL. Once again, you can see it when you get your sickly butt up here. I bet I can even make some SF for us...if Jon and the kids will give it up long enough...LOL.

what I TRYED to make last night (bowl was not frozen enough for some reason - it was 106 in the shade and all that but I put it in the ice cheast AND parked in the shade LOL) was the nsa coffee we made yesterday morning -
2 shots esspresso
2 cups steamed/nuked milk
1/3 cup splenda
splash of sf vanilla syup
chill well then pour into ice cream maker - yummmmmo

it was a great time... yes thank you Charlene and Loralea... I didn't mind paying the HIGH prices, it was well worth it for my peeps time.. besides who can put a price on true friendship? I got to finally meet some of the folks I had never before ......it was great fun....
And even if I were totally broke (mind you I'm broke just not totally broke) I would have came and helped my "friends" eat all the extra crab that wouldn't fit in their pouches... sound weird, they wouldn't have cared.. it was about the friendships and us losing another friend to miles so there was no excuse for me to miss this one... Danni has been there for me at a phone calls notice... it was a must do! And the fact that I had a blast on top of things only made it better....
