Could you please be a little patient?

There has been MUCH SAID over the fact that some posts were requested to disappear and yet there are some right now that need to disappear.  I'm trying very hard to get that done.  Since I am one of the people that asked for those posts to disappear I will also be the one that asks the last ones to disappear.  Every time someone posts about how unfair it is to have their posts removed but not others...well it hurts me to the core.  I have requested the recent offensive stuff to be removed.  It is Saturday so we may have to wait until Monday so until then...could you be patient?  I have been at the ASMBS all week and haven't been able to be here.  I'd just like very much for justice to be done and I'd like even more for the complaining to be over and done with too.  It only serves to hurt others and drive yet more people away.  Be part of the solution...you can report posts too.  I'm sorry..I'm tired, I'm sick and I may have not said it the best way.  I love my family here and it hurts me to see this.  Enough said on my part.

Some times that's truly the kindest thing.  There are so many days I WISH I was clueless!!

I'm going to assume you're referring to the posts from Charlene's daughter and all the subsequent replies. I understand you being hurt nearly as much as those Charlene stole from as she did these things at an event that you, Debra, Ramon, Sean and others worked so hard to plan and execute. I'm sorry she hurt you, however I completely disagree with you on removal of these posts. Charlene is not an innocent party in any of this. She admitted several times this morning that she stole from other members of this board.

Everyone here that attends events should know what happened so they can protect themselves at future events. Everyone here should use this as an example of while we feel like a "chosen family" that there are people out there that will become part of our circle to take advantage of others for their own selfish gain.

I hope you have a wonderful ASMBS event, but for the health of the board and eventual closure of the situation, I think the posts should stand.

I wish everyone knew the whole story,

When the first posts happened that I asked to have removed, she had not been arrested yet.  We were working with the detective and were trying to keep this on the down low until the matter was resolved.  We did not want that info out there in case it affected the outcome.  After she was arrested I didn't care.  Now some people are upset because those posts were removed and it was ONLY until the matter was worked out.  I couldn't care less what is posted now except that so many are complaining now that she is posting and why arent' they removed?  I am trying to get them removed as well. 

Does that make sense at all?  Myself as well as some others were merely trying to keep it off the board until the matter was resolved so that it did not effect the outcome.  I have contacted OH and asked them to move the thread to rants and raves. 

As always...I am more disturbed that we end up griping at each other over someone else's behavior.  I've gotten several PM's regarding how upset some people are over the complaints directed at each other instead of the person that did it in the first place.  I am so proud of the ladies that were the ones that were the actual victims and how classy they have been regarding the whole situation.  Again...I am so very tired and sick from doing too much this week and I'm probably not explaining this very well.  I hope I've managed to at least explain it adequately.

I did ask OH to remomve this member.  I did report the posts on 2 occasions.

I have not had a response from OH.  Not a PM, email, or a slap on the wrist.  I think it is aweful that we have to have this activity on our support board.  I pray for her everyday, just not what she is asking for.  I do not wish her ill, I wish her justice for those who were the victims.

She is the one stirring the pot, not us.

You usually will not hear from anyone...it just moves.  The moderators are overworked beyond belief.  I'm sure this will be resolved as soon as they can get to it.  I think Meggie said it best.  Use the block button and it will go away.  We don't need this to cause tension between the members and she will be dealt with as soon as possible, I hope.

I lurk here on the TMB; but must agree with Cruise Director.  To pull the posts is not in the best interest of the group as a whole - especially for new members.  Human nature is what it is.  Most of us have morals that are acceptable in society.  Others do not.  It is important that the unsuspecting be forewarned of the dangers that lurk on the Internet, even though this crime was perpetuated in real life.  There have been other scams and thefts that have occurred as a result of relationships formed on this website, on many of the individual boards.  Sad, but it does happen.  Let it be.  Let others learn what can happen.

Most of all, STOP BOTHERING YVONNE.  She's not the one at fault.
