Good Morning OH Family!

Allie and I are up watching our toons. She woke up at 5am....yawn. I don't get tired very often but think after all the kiddos leave this afternoon I may have to take a nap. Night before only got 2hrs sleep after we got back from the ER. Also, had both girls yesterday while Kirk was at work. Summer can't pick up Layla yet with her broke arm, and wouldn't you know it, it's her right arm. Going to church this morning. Layla bug is being dedicated. Than all the kiddos are coming to the house to have lunch and celebrate Rick's birthday. Haven't had everyone all together since Christmas. Keeping it simple, taco salad, cheese dip and watermelon for dessert. Well better start getting everyone ready. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Lynnette, you were greatly MISSED last night, so sorry you once again had a family event that prevented you from coming.  Jeesh girl I think I'm gonna quarantine your FAMILY from now until the BBQ just so I know you'll be able to make it.  We're gonna at least have everyone praying for you and yours the week before cuz we need you to be here and you need some time with US.

I'm already looking for a babysitter to help Summer so I can go to the BBQ. I've GOT to have some peep time!!! You know how much I love my family, but am starting to understand how people can go out for a loaf and bread and come back two years later

Since Emm is coming up with me, she could babysit for Summer.  I bet she would love it.  Just think about it and let me know.  We will be in town by late Thursday evening, and leaving Monday morning, so we have time for sure.  Please consider it.  She misses her neice still and this would be fun for her.

Awww thanks Becky, but we live 2 hours from Steph. Will get a hold of a girl in town that kept her when we had the garage sale. She lives in town and can come help. Wish I lived closer I would love to have Emm watch her.

Good morning!!  So far anyway.  King is still snoozing away so no demands for breakfast as of yet.

I hate reading the posts about dinner & the Seale's last night because it makes me sad that I missed out on all the fun!  But I am glad to see that fun was had by all, well except maybe little Chris and his post dinner, er, activity?  LOL

We had a nice dinner and went to the movie.  We saw My Sister's Keeper.  I was shocked that King agreed to a "chick flick", but in the end he enjoyed it and didn't call me names when I cried at the crying parts!  The movie is good, but I wouldn't rate it as good as the book.  With my sister's Lupus progressing, parts of it really struck home with me.

Today is our 5th wedding anniversary.  It'll be a laid back day until time for me to head back to PA for the week.  King will be flying up Thursday afternoon since we are both off on Friday, we're going to use a 3 day weekend to see some NYC, probably a visit to Atlantic City and he wants to go to Valley Forge and something in Delaware I can't think of at the moment.  It's mind boggling to me that you can get across 3 or 4 states up there in the amount of time it takes to drive from Dallas to Texarkana! LOL

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! NY is great-one of my favorite places just to walk around and look! I want to see that movie. Then again, just ANY movie alone with my honey or heck just me alone in a theater, lol, is a dream. I haven't been to the movies without Chris is probably a year? Maybe more!

morning everyone!

gosh, I am going to age myself but just discovered a WONDERFUL tool on this computer.  That magnifying thing on the bottom of the screen.  I can actually READ these posts without my bifocals!

Had a super busy day yesterday but it was all good. (well except for the 3 pounds I gained eating everything all day).   Was up by 7 and my folks got here about 10.  We got Emm's art table up and the living room rearranged for her.  We just need a better flourescent light for her and she is all set. 

We went to my cousin's graduation party for a few hours and I ate and ate and ate.  Tried the SF cheesecake my diabetic cousin made and it was very good.  First cheesecake since surgery.

got home at 5 and waited for Emm. They rolled in at 7 and there were lots of happy Moms and Dads and kiddos.  She had an amazing time.  She talked non stop and I was just in a buzz.  we had a late late dinner then crashed.  Today we are just 'hungover' from the excitement.  She loves her 'studio' and is already using it.

today is all of her lovely, wet, stinky laundry and the grocery.  She will go to her dad's for overnight she she can catch up with him.  I guess I forget that he misses her too and doesn't get to see her like I do.  And with the next two weekends being gone, she needs the time.  i don't like it but it's fair.

Sounds like everyone had a great time last night (aside from little Chris).  Our party girl CHARLENE CCCCCCCCC, aka the hostest Diva... outdid herself again.

so looking forward to our time up there in less than two weeks.  Hope Steph and Clay don't get tired of us.
