Protein Bar

Do you use Regular honey or diabetic honey?  These sound so good. 

Regular.  Didn't know there was a diabetic honey. 

I buy a sugar free honey at HEB called HoneyTree.  It tastes just like honey.

I got a sample of the power crunch at  RYD Galveston and liked them but when I compare the label to the pure protein, pure protein wins out.  There is more sugar and fat in power crunch.  They also leave a greasy taste on my tongue, especially the white one.  Not sure if it is vanilla or white chocolate but I prefer the pure protein and its cheaper.

Thanks for your comments Linda.  I checked the website that Danni sent and found Power Crunch is a wafer bar.  I'm not big on wafer type bars so I think I'll stick with the Pure Protein.  So far they are the highest protein, best tasting that I've found.

I love the Power Crunch wafer bars and Oh Yeah wafer bars.  Any protein bar I have tried that isn't a wafer-type bar feels like a brick in my stomach. 

Carol I was just answering the question LOL I don't eat those  - I like them but not enough to justify the cost - I eat jr cliff bars called Zbars  24 of them for $10 at costco - they are not real high protien but they keep my blood sugar nice and level and are just the right size to me

Carol I dump on Power Crunch bars but they do taste pretty good.  I have found a couple of others I like.  One is Supreme Protein.  They are covered in chocolate so they taste like a candy bar.  The other is Rockin Roll.  They taste like PayDay candy bars.  They are by far my favorite.  I did dump on one of the supreem protein bars but I think it was because I ate it WAY to fast.  I get both of these bars are The Vitamin Shoppe.

 IMHO, Pure Protein (at Walmart) is THE one, unless you have a problem with sugar alcohols ..    Comes in 3 or 4 great flavors (chocolate chip is my fav), they are so chewy and good ..   6 bars to a box for about $7 ..   They have over 20 grams of protein apiece and are low carb ..
