I absolutely agree with you, Lynnette. MJ spent his life destoying himself and I'm surprised he lasted this long. I admit to having a decided prejudice against pedifiles so that might be coloring my view a bit.

Farrah fought such a valiant fight and was such a sweet spirit. I wish her passing weren't being shoved aside so we are having MJ's life and death shoved down our throats.

I do pray for peace for both families however and I am sorry for their losses.

I said the same thing to hubby last night.  Farrah deserved more coverage.  She was a fighter and fought hard to beat this disease.  From what little coverage there was she seem to be beautiful inside as well as out.  She was a real person not just a star.  As for Michael Jackson, he was a great talent, probably influenced more musician than we will ever know.  He was a charming child and teenager.  Wonderful dancer, geat voice, fantastic entertainer.  I can't reconcile the child and teenager he was with the strange adult he became.  I don't know what his legacy will be but I feel sorrow for the little boy that somehow got lost along the way.  Nothing can excuse pedophilia (if it actually occured, it sure appears that it did, maybe the truth will never be known) but I can still mourn the lost child.

Morning all,

Not much shakin' here this morning.  Had a great time with my girlfriends yesterday evening, but feeling a little draggy this morning.  Could it be the Bloody Mary's?

I ran out of time and didn't get all my errands done yesterday, so will tackle them either this afternoon or tomorrow.  Not sure which.

Congrats on your surgery, Bryan.

Need to go make something for breakfast.  Just not hungry, but coffee will make me sick if I don't eat something.

I'm already tired of all the Michael Jackson coverage.  Apparently all of the world's problems are on hold while the world mourns this sad but talented person.  Go figure.  It also bothers me that Farrah's death is kind of a side note to his.  She fought an awful disease with dignity and determination.  May she rest in peace.

Hope you all have a great day and make good choices.
Vicki

VICKI--I totally agree..and BRYAN noted Walter Cronkite is very ill now also..SURELY he will be more important than MJ....I am so glad Farrah is at peace. HER disease I see often and can most identify with. Her family is in my prayers, as is MJ's family.

Good morning everyone
Bryan - glad to see you doing so well.  You know the drill...walk, sip, rest.

Today I am staying in.  AC man was here this morning just for routine checkup.  Added freon and said everything was AOK.  Doing laundry keeping cool.  That's about it.  Maybe a movie tonight.

Stay cool and hydrated.
