Saturday WLS Express

Good morning everyone...what a shock to see WHO was in my INBOX this morning.  Will it never end?

Had a good day yesterday.  I had a 2 hour lunch with Mel, got to catch up on all the gossip and YES we did talk about each and every one of you.  Went for an afternoon swim with the hubby, pool is like bath water.  Not terribly refreshing but for those of us that freeze all the time, it's perfect.  Last night we went to Sam's and bought Clay a new gas grill with a sear burner.  I've been wanting one of those for a while.  It should cook my medium rare steaks perfectly. 

This morning it's off to Home Depot for some mulch and plants and a little yard work.  Then we need to find someplace to DUMP my disaster from yesterday.  I decided to clean out my deep freeze and 2 refridgerator freezers and we completely filled my polycart with dead food.  I wasn't even thinking that trash day was 6 days away and in this heat it was going to stink like a dead body!!  Anyway, we'll think of something.

Gonna get started on my day.  Peep time tonight.  Sorry to be saying good-bye to Danni but luckily she'll be back in September for the conference.

Good Morning!!!  Not much planned for today.  Tom wants me to stay quiet so I will have the energy for dinner...

Will miss seeing Liz and my granddogs, but I totally agree with the decision.  She will be here soon enough and we will have plenty of hug time then.

Tom is driving me crazy with the yard.  We now have a new weed eater, new sprinkler, and he is running in and out like a madman.  He comes in an rests a lot and that is good.  Wish he would take some of that energy out on the house....how to rechannel...

I am feeling much better.  There is something to this couch/bed thing.  Congestion is finally breaking up and I can hear much better.   My chest no longer has a knife in it.  Progress!!

Bryan take it easy, you are definetly on the right track here

believle me, we ALL miss yall too! Especially the kids.. they are so missing your backyard and Tom and Que time!.  too funny on Tom... Must have the yard just pefect just for the dogs :)

that's like Madeline.  She has been pouting since Saturday morning last week when Emm drove away in the van WITH her suitcase and Maddie didn't go.  She has been so depressed and just lies on Emm's bed all day and night.  This morning I told her that Pee paw and Gmommy and EMM were coming today.. That girl has been sitting in the chair staring at the front door for an hour!!!  It's gonna be a long day!

Good Morning Bryan and the rest of my TMB Family,

It is so wonderful to see you up and around Bryan.  I could barely lift my head after two days.  You are doing a great job.  Keep up the good work.  Liz glad you made the decision to stay home and rest.  You have to be 100% before the BBQ!  I sure wish I was going to be there tonight but such is life when you are trying to sell a house.  Mark is over at the house today painting.  Hoping the paint he bought yesterday will match or else he will be painting the whole house.  We had the carpets cleaned yesterday and unfortunetly there were many stains that would/could not come out so we ended up buying new carpet last night and they will put that in next week.  I'm telling you we better sell this house in a very short time.  I plan to work around here, wash my kitchen floor, do laundry, and bake some SF snickerdoodels.  Maybe a movie on lifetime if I can find a decent one.  Also have a good book that I need to read.  So will have a full day.  Looking forward to the BBQ in a couple of weeks.  We are planning on staying in a hotel I think.  It really is a long drive, and if Mark wants to have a beer or two he should be able to and not worry about it.  Tomorrow I am going to Sunday School and Church.  Missed last week and I can feel it.  Ok well tummy is growling so tells me it is time for my oatmeal.  Prayers for those in need this morning, especially Liz and Bryan.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle

GOOD MORNING! Getting a slower start this morning. Have been up, just not on the computer. Bryan is up walking now around the house. He's coughed up some phlem and sounds congested-even though he's been doing his spirometer 10 times an hour like he was told to. We'll keep an eye on that.
 
I agree with him on the hospital- everything and everyone was great. The nutritionist came in yesterday and gave him a big tote back with sample proteins and vitamins-Bariatric Advantage stuff mostly- and a pillow that describes the surgery. Its for him to hold against his incision when getting up and down, etc, but it also explains it for folks who don't know-like our friends and family not associated with OH.

My sister will bring Chris home this morning. I'm trying to get some laundry done and the house clean. I didn't eat too well at the hospital-need to work on getting back on track today.
Liz- we all understand why you can't come-rest rest rest! And Que- glad you're feeling some better-hope you continue to do so.

OW im think coughin was not something i wanted to do so soon post op!!! Hope he feels better there soon!!!! Sounds like a great hospital.. glad they are doing well with the customer service. See you in a few weeks :)

Good Morning OH Family!

Bryan I'm impressed,your doing great! I'm exhausted! Last night Summer called me at 10pm her laundry room flooded and the water ran into her back room. When she went down there she fell and hit her head, knocked her out and she hit her elbow.Kirk was at work.When Kirk got home he stayed with Layla and I took her to the ER. Slight concussion (sp) and small break in the arm. We got home at 3:30am.They had 2 different people come in with snake bites and several trauma cases.They put a bandage thing that got hard on her arm and told her to make an appointment with an ortho. Suppose to have Allie today, but Summer can't pick up Layla today don't know if I'm up to both.Ok......not to complain but I would like just one day or heck even a week without something happening. Danni need to make plans to see each other before you leave,you will be missed! Try and stay cool today.
