I'm stopping in Palacios on the way to have lunch with a friend/old roommate from almost 30 years ago. We have lots of good memories. We lived together for a couple of years when we first started teaching and then were best friends until I moved back to Livingston 22 years ago. She has 2 kids at A & M, so I'm hoping we can see each other there at times over the next few years.
Bryan and Alissa...surgery will go well today and we won't be able to recognize you Bryan in a few months! Best wishes for your recovery.
Prayers for our sick little girl, Liz on her pneumonia recovery.
Prayers for Lynne that she resolve her health issue.
Have a great day...I'll be thinking of all of you when I'm listening to the beach sounds late this evening...won't be posting until next Tuesday. By then I'll probably be a big red blister! I do have 2 cans of sunscreen packed, so maybe I'll be good.

fun busy day planned - making lots of progress on the decluttering here - got the sewing room done yesterday - I tell you my sitter ROCKS she stayed and helped me (please please God let me find a good sitter/mothers helper in Ga)
had a sub in psyc yesterday and today - he is a riot!!!! and give good lectures that are easy to take notes from - is a large man and I WANT to tell him about wls - but so do not want to offend/hurt kwim?
anyhow less than 2 weeks till the packers come - still have the kitchen, tim n I's headboard/nightstands, the computer desks, kitchen and Ds closet (it is not his stuff but full of camping/baby/stroage stuff)
life is good!!! do what you need to to be healthy today - you know the drill - WATER VITS PROTIEN and MOVEMENT

Seems everybody is a little slow this a.m. This heat will do it to you! Prayers are going up for Bryan and his surgeon this morning. Got pictures back from our Hot Springs vacation last week. They are fun to look at and remember. God got me!!! I bought a package of those ready to bake Nestle's Cookies with the intention of taking them to H.S. and baking there, but forgot and left them at home. Got back home and heard about the recall on them so returned them to the store yesterday afternoon. I KNEW I shouldn't have bought them!!! Nothing more than taking care of the 3GD's today. We'll play outside as long as we can tolerate the heat then move inside. Y'all have a great day.

Good Morning Laura and the rest of my TMB Family,
Big prayers going out this morning for Alissa and Bryan. I will be checking back looking for updates on how he is doing. So greatful for this tool, and for the people who use it! Its going to be another HOT day. I really dont do well with this heat, and it makes me very lazy. I can not remember the last time I got out and walked and that was such a HUGE part of my day at one point. I really need to stop making excuses and just get out and do it. Not to much on the agenda for today. Mark is going to be working from home, and I do need to run to the base. I want to go to the library and see if they have a book I was told to read. It is called Beautiful Boy. Anyone heard of it? The pool guy finally came to the old house last night and fixed the leaks we think. Lets hope so. We really cant afford to put a new liner in. Now the carpet cleaners come tomorrow, Mark is painting on Saturday and Sunday and hope it will be all ready on Monday! What a project this has turned out to be for him! Oh well guess that is all for now. Prayers this morning for our sicky Liz, sure hope you are feeling better, and special prayers for Bryan and Alissa. Good news. It's hot here in VA....but nowhere near as hot as there. High today is supposed to be 93. Tomorrow it's going to be "really hot" (according to the weather guys here) with a high of 95. They seem to think 40% humidity is outrageous. In CC we called that LOW humidity. LOL Anyway, it doesn't get much over 95 here and really only lasts for a few days. The past two summers, the hot part of August we had to run the AC for 2 weeks solid - but that was it! The rest of the time we might turn it on for a few hours but the evenings would cool down so we could have open windows overnight and most of the morning.
All that to say....when you move up here, you'll have GREAT weather to walk....till winter sets in, that is. It gets WAY too cold up here....
Nothing exciting here, another cloudy, hazy day with rain in the forecast yet again here in Harleysville, PA. I've been here Mon-Friday every week since Memorial Day and there literally has been ONE day that it has not rained at some point during the day UGH! I need sunshine, not to mention trying to keep my hair do done! LOL

To show how out of it I am, I didn't even notice that Laura had titled this as Friday. Oh well. I'll crawl back in my hole. I'm feeling better then I was last night but still pretty blah. At least my neck isn't hurting but my tummy is still upset. I forced myself to get up and come to work cuz I don't have any sick days and I don't want to blow vacation days.
Danni, maybe we can get together Friday evening for a bit with the puppies. Let me know if that would work.

Good Morning OH Family!
First of all prayers for Bryan this morning for an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery. Asking for prayers for a co-worker of Rick's family today. Rick has worked with him for 30 years and was a dear friend. He was killed yesterday trying to help a car wreck victim. He was such a good man, a very tall Native American that was proud of his heritage and his family.Rick is having a really hard time with his passing.Ok enough sad news.......There are also blessings. My nephew (Mark's oldest) called last night and his wife is in labor. So waiting to hear, she was not dilated very far so it may take a while. Can't wait to hear if it's a boy or girl. Well better get something productive done today. Try and stay cool and hydrated going to be another scorcher today.
