Good luck Brandi! You will do great. I love your attitude. I think "mourning" food is normal right before the surgery. You will begin to feel better too. You didn't mention protein drinks but I'm sure you have it (you did mention shakes - protein?). Am just curious which brand you will be drinking and do you have a favorite flavor? 14 days to go...WOOHOO!

I am one week in my liquid diet. I was like Brandi mourning my food before i started....but you know it has not been that hard at all. After one week i feel great and still have lost of energy and have not bitten anyone's head off...... Everyone at work was worried that i would be grumpy but i surprised them. I also surprised myself last weekend i did not think i had much will power but proved myself wrong. Last weekend had to attend my neice's wedding it was on a yacht, yes locked on a boat for 4 hours surrounded by food, drinks, and cake but i did not eat a thing. i just drank my Isopure, then Father's day was on sunday Mom cooked pot roast with the works and homemade hot rolls, and for desert Peach pie and homemade ice cream, I just took my protien shake and drank away. So i proved to myself i do have more will power than i thought. Hang in there and good luck with your surgery. my surgery is June 30th.
