Jumpstart June
I did fairly well for staying home all day yesterday. I did eat several spicy crackers...hoping the red pepper counteracts the carbs in them. I ate a cup or so of Chester's cheese puffs, but they are baked, so not too bad. I ate one tiny butterfinger.
Today's plan:
lots of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks
chicken salad or something like that for lunch...will go buy something
chicken Asian Helper for dinner...we're doing "boxed gourmet"!
I have been eating during the night a lot of nights lately...usually a little trail mix or something. I will officially give that up as of today...I know it's usually more of a mind thing than being hungry. Bad, bad Karla...

I am not happy right now. The scale did not move like I thought it should. With all the extra efforts that I made over the past couple of days, I think I should have dropped at least two pounds . Today will be a treat day and I promise to get back on it tomorrow.

something and hot rolls and cin rolls for dinner (teaching a friend to bake yeast rolls from the easy recipe and you know I will have to have some)
when I get over heated today it will be cl hydration, protien shake cl, repeat till I feel ok agian - stayed out of the sugar yesterday - gotta try to do that agian today
I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
I'm hoping to work my plan better today.

Yesterday I ended up running around all day so shot my plan all to h*ll. I started with a "free" banana nut muffin from Walmart for breakfast. Went to IKEA and had pasta with marinara sauce for lunch with 1/3 of a slice of chocolate cake. Both Hailey and I got terribly sick from the cake-nausea, diarrhea (so there went those calories) and ended up only eating 2 ears of corn for dinner. Late night snack was trash mix. So it was a crappy day of eating but calorie wise I did OK. According to my scale I'm actually down a pound today~could be the food poisening thing, lol.
Tonight I'm having dinner and drinks with friends at Snuffers so you know that ain't gonna be good...cheese fries, fried pickles, alcohol...I'm planning on being good for 2 meals today so I can splurge tonight. Better go get my vitamins started so today won't be a total loss.

RNY revision from lapband 7/30/07...TT/BL 10/9/08 and at GOAL
Well, I didn't do well at all yesterday. I just ate way too much. Head Hunger, I think. Not sure what's triggering my emotional eating, but it was UGLY. - I think I've been struggling with this for a week or so, but last night got the best of me.
Today, I'm going to try to do better. I woke up early and went to the gym. I have plans to really watch my food intake and account for everything that goes into my mouth. I plan to log EVERYTHING. I already got a big glass of water I've been sipping on and plan to continue ALL DAY.
B'fast - Turkey, FF Cream Cheese & Egg White
Lunch - Turkey, FF Cream Cheese, Egg White, Almonds & Med. Peach
Snack - Turkey, FF Cream Cheese, Egg White, Almonds & Plum
Dinner - Tilapia, Asparagus & 1 cup mixed berries
Maybe I'll even go on a nice leisurely walk this evening when it's not so hot out.

I did pretty good yesterday, stayed away from most carbs (my down fall) for the most part. I got on the scale and are down 2 pounds now and have 8 to go since I got back on track again. Today I only work one job, Yea! It depends on how my knee feels today if I go to the gym. I am going to make my fresh fruit salsa tonight for work tomarrow so I'm sure there will be a few corn chips involved.
