WOO HOO WED WLS EXPRESS
Well I'm now one of the fortunate citizens of Calcasieu Parish to serve on the civil jury. I don't mind, really I don't as I find it interesting and rewarding. IF it had been the criminal case, I've heard rumors about in the hallway (2nd degree murder), my thoughts may be difference. I'm not sure my stomach could handle something to that degree. So back to court this morning, they are saying we might finish up late tomorrow evening but possibly not until Friday.
I actually got my duties caught up to just a couple of projects last week, that's good I guess and bad too because I'm sure I'll be super busy again when I get back.
Cutter's team lost their game last night, man they looked like they never played baseball before ugh. Anyways they BETTER be playing well tonight, lol; the best we can do is 4th place now and this team should of been second place. We all know who the winning team should be they are undefeated and all play year-round tournament ball; awesome team.

hit me yesterday all of a sudden (before the premove inspection guy come out btw - that was a differnt panic) that I had 15 days to be ready for the packers to come to my house - well then the premove inspection and the estemated weight was 100 pounds under our max - I bet I got rid of (or at least is spoken for) 500 pounds last night - goodwill, friends, neighbors and HPB all got stuff - more to go today
when we moved to alaska we had not idea really how much being over weight could cost nor any idea of how much stuff weighed - we JUST payed off the move UP there 2 months ago - and the army does not send you a bill - they just take it striaght from your pay, no questions asked
working on that anyhow - missing Tim desperatly - knowing I will miss my friends desperately in a few weeks LOL but that I belong with my hubby
working on passing with a good grade my psyc class - have a high B at the moment -
intersting reading on memory this morning - depression causes memory loss or the lack of laying down memorys - how many of us have fewer memorys from when we were MO or SMO?
also it takes 3 to 6 YEARS to truely internilize a new habit that is counter to a long term one - ie poor food choicess - hey I am half way there and I do see progress - told my mom yesterday - I still eat all day long I just make much better choices on quanity and quality
hope everyone has a great day - WATER VITS and EXERSIZE you know what I always say - you had this to be HEALTHY so do what it takes to be HEALTHY
speaking of healthy - liz please please get better soon and momma q too
peace
Danni
Gina did you notice I am getting better about changing my font size for you:)
I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
Danni,
I know I haven't said anything about it, but I totally agree with you. Moving to be with Tim is the right thing to do. It is hard to make that move away from your life right now, but it's worth it to be together as a family (which you already know). Leaving friends behind is always difficult, but just think, there are new friends in GA waiting to meet you. They just don't know it yet!! :) You and your family are in my prayers during this transition time. Love ya!!
BTW, where in GA and when will you be there? We are going to be in TN/AL in a couple of weeks......
we need to get together with molly and H agian before Sat am

My pre-op went fine yesterday. I have to report for surgery at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 2nd. The doctor was impressed with my weight loss. Since May 6th, I have lost 18.4 pounds (Yes I had regained and went back twoterville)! So needless to say I decided to have a treat day yesterday and I will have another one today. I will refocus on Thursday so I can continue to lose. Have a wonderful day.

Tomorrow we hit the beach at Port Aransas. I have to finish my packing and load the car today. We have lots of stuff since we have to take all our food, snack, etc, the pop up tent for the beach and our clothes, ice chest. Maybe there will be room for the 2 of us.
Prayers for all who need them: Liz, Que and any others who are sick or hurting.
Prayers for Bryan's surgery tomorrow.
Liz...I hope the sleep fairy visits you too. You would think w/ pneumonia you would be able to sleep.
Have a great Wednesday.

Trying to remember my FIRST woohoo......the one that really stuck in my mind was finding hip bones!! I knew there were bones there but when I found 'em sticking out that was cool!
Prayers for all who are sick, including my DD#2 - she has the respiratory crud and had to go to St Lukes Urgent Care the other nite. Ear is "leaking" and she has a fistful of stuff to take for it. She goes to the ENT today. I went by and made her some cream of potato soup last nite so am hoping she's on the road to recovery.
Don't forget your WATER today!!! It's another hot one!!
Lovin Spoonful - Summer in the City
Hot town, summer in the city
Back of my neck getting burnt and gritty
Been down, isn't it a pity
Doesn't seem to be a shadow in the city
All around, people looking half dead
Walking on the sidewalk, hotter than a match head
But at night it's a different world
Go out and find a girl
Come-on come-on and dance all night
Despite the heat it'll be alright
And babe, don't you know it's a pity
That the days can't be like the nights
In the summer, in the city
In the summer, in the city
Cool town, evening in the city
Dressed so fine and looking so pretty
Cool cat, looking for a kitty
Gonna look in every corner of the city
Till I'm wheezing at the bus stop
Running up the stairs, gonna meet you on the rooftop
But at night it's a different world
Go out and find a girl
Come-on come-on and dance all night
Despite the heat it'll be alright
And babe, don't you know it's a pity
That the days can't be like the nights
In the summer, in the city
In the summer, in the city
