To keep Valero stock up? Honestly, I have no f'ing clue. I'm not pleased about it at all. Especially since it's walk in and wait only. I'm already spending 30-35 hours a week looking for a job on weeks I don't drive to DFW to interview. Spending more than about 20 minutes there is going to make me exceptionally cranky.

When I read your reply to the QOTD, I noticed you were in a dress and stilettos and was thinking "she sure gets dressed up to sit at home".  LOL. 

I am very proud to see how much you do each day on the job search.  Never give up.

I dressed up for that seminar at the TWC. I actually wore the outfit I was layed off in because I'm trying to not let it become jinxed in my mind. It felt good to put on my old clothes and not be covered in paint. I guess that will be one good thing about having to go up there once a week. I'll actually fix my hair, put on make-up and a dress and heels and feel pretty.

When I got home today, I wished there was a salary or stipend for having a great hair day. Because mine looked great today. Which is good considering I canceled my appointment to have it cut tomorrow because of $$.

In my eyes, you are always pretty.  But don't tell Michael I said that.

Sorry to hear about that Jen.  My hubby was out of work for 8 months and only had to do online reporting, how strange.  I wonder what the difference is?  I agree, it makes no sense to spend your time and MONEY driving and waiting.  Chin up girl, I'm praying you find a job soon cuz you're gonna run out of things to paint sooner or later, lol.

If she feels the need to paint, there is always my house.

If I get a job, then I'll get to shop for a new house to paint. And Michael agreed that we'll paint the next house before we move in or at least before we put the furniture where it belongs. Which is good because I'm tired of painting houses just to sell them.

Good evening everyone !!

Somewhat of a productive day for me today.   With our clerical layoff(s) last week that did affect our office in a certain way -  I have inherited MORE JOB ASSIGNMENTS / DUTIES.............  I'm excited...anxious, nervous and well - I just don't think that 8 hours a day is going to be enough !!   
But somehow -  I know that everything will work out.  I LOVE MY JOB AND  BECAUSE OF THAT - I'LL GIVE IT MY BEST ATTEMPT AND THAT IS ALL THAT THEY EXPECT !!

Not going to stay on long..............feeling really tired tonight so - gonna go hit the 30 min bike and then off to bed........
