How was she able to get to their purses w/o anyone seeing her, btw? 
When Sean said "Charlene" in his post, I had asked earlier, in BIG disbelief, "our Miss C????", as i knew that just couldn't be the case
.. (I edited that post after someone clarified who it was to me in a PM) .. So using that name is a bit confusing (or at least was to me, since I didn't know we had another "Charlene" on the TMB) .. 
Yes, we need to call her by some other name on here .. hmmmmmm .. any ideas?
In the meantime, I'll do a background search on the BUSSTED gal .. and see what it shows about her criminal past ..

a public bg check shows two other instances.. on in which had jail time... and one just a year ago...

This person has a previous history of fraud, theft by check, credit card fraud.. and other things...
Her last instance of being busted was May 08.. I imagine she doesn't want you to file charges because she may or may not still be on probation....
Public Data is $10.95/mon.. and totally worth it... hubby and I BG check everyone around us.. sounds nutso.. but saves us a lot...

In events like this - we are always trusting..........maybe too trusting.........being in a "tourist" area.....that wa**** hard by IKE last year...............LARGE LARGE HOTEL AREA...........
I CHOSE NOT TO LEAVE MY PURSE UNATTENDED................IT WAS WITH ME AT ALL TIMES.....
I'm not saying much.......but thankfully - I wasn't one that was affected except for in this heart...it hurts me to know end to know that someone that we all love and cared for - just met.........could do this to people that he/she knew........................ ((((((((Huggss))))))))))))))) to all.

I don't post much but I usually follow my intuition on people and it usually is right on. I thought it was funny that she was so much into Mark while he was having surgery and actually so concerned with him. (not that anyone shouldn't but I was thinking-Does she have the "HOTS" for him and does he fly that way)
Sorry for the person(s) that were scammed. Don't think everyone is like this and don't cancel plans just because of this person.

and..I have been to hundreds of "events" in my lifetime..OH and otherwise..and have hundreds of "opportunities" to STEAL..but I NEVER, EVER did...this was the FAULT OF THE THIEF, NOT THE EVENT, ORGANIZERS OR THE VICTIMS!!!!!!!!!!
