Tuesday WLS express
Enjoyed my birthday yesterday, but the moratorium on housework is officially over. Today, I'll be dusting, sweeping and doing laundry. I'm pretty sure there's still furniture under that dust. I intend to find out today.
Not having much luck job hunting. There just don't seem to be a lot of job openings out there. Hopefully, I can get some temp assignments before my unemployment runs out.
Not much else to report here. Like everywhere else in Texas, it's hot. My herb garden is taking lots of water.
I'm off to make my breakfast and put dinner on to marinate. Hope you all have a great day and make good choices.

Good Morning OH Family!
I'm so excited!! Summer and I are going to the Eric Clapton/Steve Winwood concert tonight at AA. Chad and I bought her tickets for her birthday in Feb.She and Kirk insisted that I go with her.So Kirk traded being off Father's Day so he could watch Layla.(he's such a sweetie) We are going to catch the Dart in Plano, go a little early and eat dinner down there. Well I better get going, still need to spend the day applying for jobs. Prayers for our Jenn in SA that something comes up soon. Prayers for Bryan for an uneventful surgery. Here's a little tune from Eric Clapton (can you tell how much of a fan Summer is?) lol
Layla
What'll you do when you get lonely
And nobody's waiting by your side?
You've been running and hiding much too long.
You know it's just your foolish pride.
Layla, you've got me on my knees.
Layla, I'm begging, darling please.
Layla, darling won't you ease my worried mind.
I tried to give you consolation
When your old man had let you down.
Like a fool, I fell in love with you,
Turned my whole world upside down.
Chorus
Let's make the best of the situation
Before I finally go insane.
Please don't say we'll never find a way
And tell me all my love's in vain.
