okay I have been trying to find some proteins that I like and I have been unsuccessful! I have tried the protien bullet can't stand it alone or diluted.  I tried some bariatric advantage chocolate power but not to good either.  It wasn't chalky but it didn't have much flavor! I have a sample vanilla and I am going to try it next...but does anyone have any protien drinks they just love? I tried the unflavored mixed with carnation instant breakfast...not to good either.  I am really struggling to get my protein in.  I need some ideas!!!

I really like the Atkins shakes.........and MY NUT and DR recommended them too !!

Also - I like the GNC 100% protein whey - they have a Caramel / Chocolate flavor. I mix it in with my skim milk...sometimes add cherry flavoring w/ice cubes and have  a shake that way too.
I like their vanilla too................I usually add a tbsl or so of the chocolate banana smoothie mix (comes in pkgs at walmart - usually in the produce area)
Takes some of the protein taste out of the whey protein too me.

GOOD LUCK !!

I like the Isopure it comes in many flavors and you can purchase it at any GNC store. It has 0 carbs and 40 grams of protein and it is in liquid form. They also make a powder (vanilla) that I like but I add 1/2 banana and some berries so it tastes like a smoothie.

I have tried many a kinds of protein pownders and have found most of them nasty. Either they stunk, bad taste or bad texture. I finally found ones I liked. I'm not into the chocolate flavor protein liquids I like the fruity kind. I mix it with V8 Diet tropical juice with ice or frozen fruit, I sometimes add a splenda if the fruits not sweet enough. Kinda of reminds me of a peni coloda drink, yummy.

I also like the Atkins shakes.  Get the vanilla and add the SF flavored syrups.  Yummy...
I order the Matrix powder protein from BA and they aren't too bad.  I found some SF Hershey syrup and mix that with ice and powder in a bullet and it is so good.
I have trouble getting enough protein in each day since I can't eat but 1 oz of meat per sitting.  I find the tuna has more protein than other meat and isn't as hard to get down.

Good Luck,
DeborahL.

I tried the atkins shakes well the chocolate one but i didn't like it.  maybe i need to try the non chocolate flavors.  Another meat that has a high protien content is the gordons frozen fish fillets.  they have 16 grams of protein.

I really like the Unjury Protein - you can buy samples/travel size individual serving packets. [www.unjury.com]

I also like the Body Fortress from Walmart - it's in the "diet foods" section, usually in the Pharmacy area or you can get it at Target too.  I get this one when I'm too lazy to order from Unjury.

I make a shake with a scoop of powder, 6-8oz of milk or cold water, 1/2 a frozen banana broken into pieces, 1 splenda and about 1/2 - 3/4 Cup of crushed ice.  Blend until smooth and it's like a Wendy's frosty!!

TONYA-I've tried a WHOLE bunch of proteins over the years...Unjury reamins my all time fave. I am not a "chocolate lover", but I DO love THEIR chocolate-esp mixed with coffee or in pudding. The vanilla is good..the strawberry I can take or  leave...The unflavored is great for mixing in soup, otmeal, etc...and the chicken soup is great for a "change of pace" kind of thing. The downside is that you can only get it online, but they are GREAT to work with--really fast--and the shipping is amazingly cheap. I have ordered from them for years, and always been happy with the outcome. No-I don't work for them-but they SHOULD pay me, as much advertising as I do for them..lol

I really like GNC Max Protein in the big blue tub.  I have the chocolate flavor as well as cookies and cream.

Nectar cappuccino is super good too.
