Grouchy Pouch!?!?!
Do any of you believe that your pouch has a mind of it's own? I think mine does as a matter of fact I think it has a split personality disorder because some days I can eat my regular amount of food and somedays it seems like if I barely even put the food up to my mouth I am already getting foamies.
Yesterday for Father's Day my brothers barbecued and I had half of a porkchop, a couple of spoon fulls of charro beans and I was done and I wasn't miserable or anything I was just satisfied. I brought some leftovers for lunch and I felt like I was starving, so I warmed up my food and sat down to eat and my stomach was even rumbling like it does when I am hungry. Well I tore a piece of the pork chop and didn't even get to finish chewing it before I had to spit it out because I started getting foamies and an awful feeling in my stomach. This has been happening to me alot lately, I am about 15 months post op and at this point can tolerate anything in reasonable amounts but this is getting frustrating because afterwards I am still hungry yet I feel grossed out.
Has this happened to you?

Erica

Wow, you just took the words right out of my co-workers mouth! She and I were JUST talking and she had the surgery 2 years ago and she said that she can eat meat when its freshly cooked but unless it's ground beef she cannot do leftover pork chops, fajita's or even chicken for that matter. I never thought about that because meat does tend to dry up when re-cooked and it's probably to tough.
