my nut told me I should plan to supliment for the rest of my life
they add a lot in the way of vits to my diet (I still am very carefull about making sure I follow my labs and get my vits )
they help me get protien I absorb better
they help with my apitite and energy level
the extra protien is great for building muscles - I do a lot of physical stff - biking, weight lifting, eliptical, walking, spin class etc
WARNING too much protien with out enough water is BAD for your kidneys - I was taught an oz of water per gram of protien - if I vary that by more than about 25%I can tell b/c my kidneys start hurting like the begining of a kidney infection - add more water it goes away ignore it - end up with a uti - that is how my body works
I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
Yesterday wasn't the best choices I've ever made. Had a EMT student show up with 2 dozen donuts for 4 employees to eat so of course I HAD to eat TWO!! Lunch was 4 oz of grilled chicken and one ear of corn. For dinner we went to Texas Roadhouse and I ate TWO rolls with cinnamon honey butter and 2 potato skin wedges. Talk about carb overload. When we left I was really sick to my stomach and I'm pretty sure it was all the butter. I do fine with sugar but "fats", not so much.
Right now I have a protein drink defrosting for breakfast but will need to make plans for the rest of the day. I need to hang my "too tight sundress" out where I can see it and maybe that will keep me from eating everything in site!!

Vits and morning protein in! Water water and more water, lunch and snacks packed for the day! My insulated linch bag is falling apart so Ken gave me his and I can get lots of bev bottles in it!!
Weight up but still in the comfort zone so I am NOT fretting! Let's get out there and have a GREAT week!!!

I ate allllll weekend long. Haven't done that in a very long time. Not all good stuff either. For some reason was craving sweets. Ate cookies and did not dump uugh! The scale was kind to me this morning. I was shocked! Today's plan is to conquer the carb monster!
Breakfast- Oatmeal
Lunch- tuna salad, fresh tomato
Dinner-leftover hm chili
Snack- fresh peaches, strawberries

Did great yesterday, started back on track and lost 11/2 pounds of the 10 I gained. Working long hours today 7am until 11pm so it will be frozen meals for me.
Did my vits when I got up
had a breakfast toasted sandwich with eggs/cheese
cheese for snack
roasted Turkey Brest (healthy choice) lunch
fiber bar for snack
trying to sneak in a fruit protein shake if possible
pumpkin squash ravioli (healthy choice) dinner
vits before bedtime and some type of snack as yet to be determined
