How is June going for You?  Anyone come up with an idea for what we want to call July?  Join Us In July?  Junkfood July?  Jammin July?  I'm not being very creative here.  We could do No Junkfood July and try to totally avoid it for a month!  Kick some ideas out there for us to ponder...

I did okay yesterday. I got plenty of exercise working in the yard. 

today's plan:
lots of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks
leftover shrimp fettucine for lunch
haven't thawed out anything for dinner...guess I should do that before I post each morning!

What's your plan?

Been missing in action as for as posting regularly for the past 8 days, maybe more... However, that is NOT to say that I haven't been doing my goals for this month-- except the posting! I have my goals printed off at my office, at home and in my car-- so  am always being reminded this is what I said I was going to do for myself this month! It has DEFINITELY helped! 

Some will say that 'eating no carbs' is a diet, but honeslty since I have given up the carbs with the excepion of those carbs from nuts, peanut butter, milk, dairy products, veggies and fruits, and yogurt, I have had NO grains, pasta, chips, triscuits, oatmeal, anything that when I say "carbs" you normally think of. "No carbs" since May 24! And, I have SO much more energy, no fatigure or feeling slowed down. It's a great feeling!


I haven't eve had anything "sweet' except: Sugar Free Cool Whip and Sugar Jello Gelatin, Dannon Fit & Carb Control yogurt, my protein bars, SF Jello Pudding-- absolutely NO cravings.

I'm not going to weigh until the end of the month-- it's that TOM now.

Makng healthy eating choices-- have not had fast food, restaurant food or anything "out" since May 20! Just because I don't want all that added fat, grease and who else knows what is in it. I like the taste of the grilled and fresh foods I prepare at home. 

Exercising is going well... I've been complaining because the scale has NOT moved but I've had some county employees (fellow employees) who have not seen me in a month or so and said, "man you keep losing...." and I said not according to the scale, but then they were like your shape is changing drastically. They ask me for EXCERISE TIPS!! ME?!?

Then some of the guys at the office where telling another female co-worker, "Jessica, sure is toning up nicely and look at her tiny waist!" ME?!?!

Maybe my HEAD will catch up with the MIRROR... One of these days.

I'm here .....

Breakfast:  PURE Choc/Peanut Butter Protein Bar

Lunch:  Whatever F-I-L chooses for his Father's Day outing

Dinner:  No idea - rolling with the flow this weekend

How's that for planning?  LOL

Oh and I forgot my freaking vitamins when I left PA yesterday - surely I won't die by missing two days!  I usually have double everything - one for home, one for the road but I let my for the road become one for home when the expiration dates were getting close and never replenished the one for the road set.

Good morning!!!   Trying hard to get out of this food rut I'm in so I'm going to be looking for some new recipes today.   Last night I got some salmon so we are going to do that on the grill tomorrow for Father's Day.

Today:
Breakfast: yougurt w/ granola
Lunch:  modified BLT
Dinner:  Talpia?

I lost the 2 lbs I gained so I'm happy BUT now I've decided I'd like to lose another 5-10 lbs.  I bought the cutest strapless sundress that is just a TAD too tight.  So if I lost a couple lbs it might fit better.  But I need to give up my snacks for that to happen, lol.

Ideas for July names...July Journal, July Joint-Venture, July Journey, July Jam Session, July Justification.

I started the day with my usual protein drink but lunch is fettuccine alfredo so I better make good choices for dinner.

June is going great.  I have not weighed in two days because the scale was going in the wrong direction.  I am still doing all the right things.  I decided to increase my water intake and decrease my salt intake as well as low carb.  I hope when I weigh in the morning that there has been a loss.  I like Stephanie's name July Journal or Journey July.
