Jumpstart June

I was glad to see so many people jump in jumpstart june yesterday. 

I ate a few too many carbs yesterday, but overall it wasn't too bad.

Today's plan:
lots of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks
breakfast casserole and snacks at work, might be lunch, too
haven't planned for dinner...might be steak quesadillas with leftover steak.

What's your plan?  How is your June going?

Well when you step on the scale everyday, sometimes it is not your friend.  The scale went up 1.6 pounds.   However, I do realize that in the past two days that I may have had too much articficial sweetner.  So today, I am only having one packet in my coffee.  No diet soda today through Tuesday only water, water, water.  I have to weigh in for my pre-op and I would like to weigh under 200 pounds.  I hope this minor adjustment and increase my green leafy veggies will allow me to get to where I would like to be by Tuesday.

first protien shake in - lots of healthy food around and nsa frozen yogurt planned for lunch - no gym b/c I have a test and would have to wait around and would rather go kidnap my heart sister for frozen yogurt for lunch :)

I'm with you Faith on the scale not being my friend was up 2 pounds this morning. I lke Karla ate a few to many carbs yesterday. Well I have already started with a protein shake for breakfast and will water my body down today since I didn't get my H2O in yesterday like I was suppose to. Will do better today.

Hi Karla,

Well, yesterday was a BAD day.  Moderate to severe abdominal pain.  Not sure what was going on, but I'm feeling a little better today.  My pain is tolerable, it's more like sore stomach muscles today.  -- I'm super tired, because I was up most of the night.

Too scared to eat or drink anything, so I haven't made a plan to today.  Might take it easy and stick to clear liquids.  You know, chicken broth and lots of water.

Good morning!!!  I thought today maybe I should revisit my goals for this month since the month is more then half over....

 

  1. My starting weight this month is 181.  I’d like to lose 10lbs this month.  I  know it’s a bit optimistic as it’s suppose to get harder to lose the weight the closer you get to goal, but I’m going to give it a shot.  This morning I was 175lbs!!!  So I'm pleased with this... only 15lbs away from GOAL!!!!!!!!  Then the hard work will really start.... MAINTENANCE!
  2. Exercise at least 3 times a week.  Hasn't happened at all!  But today is my first day of summer vacation and I will be headed to the gym later this morning!
  3. Drink my water Still struggling and some days only getting between 40-60oz if I'm lucky.
  4. Take my vitamins  Not happening at all......... I know, I know.... learn from others....

Well, not feeling well today so I went back to bed @ 5:30 instead of walking.

So far I have my vits in and am posting.  I will drink my protein later as my tummy is upset and that is the last thing I want to drink right now.  Will take it easy today, at least as much as I can. 

Remember, Thursday's almost there!!!!

I have done great,(keep forgetting that) but I still got a long ways to go..So I hope you ladies dont mind me jumping in here and trying to get back on track with you guys

So far this morning I have had my morning coffee and vitamins, contemplating protien shake for breakfast  but im gonna go back and find the original post to see what were doing here lol
