I know EXACTLY where you are!  BTDT......still have a one car garage full of stuff I need to sort thru - most belonging to DD.......don't stress over it too much, it really is little stuff in the grand scheme of things!!

The tech job sounds interesting, if not compensating right now.  It is more money than you are getting now.  But only you can answer the question of do you want to do it.  You can ask us for advice.  You can talk it over with Michael.  Bottom line is.... you.  I don't feel why you would feel you are not a worth recipient.  And whether you like it or not, we will continue to pray for you.

From what you said yesterday, you do have a little time to make the decision.  Take your time.

I do have time. I talked to the VP of Sales this morning and told him that I needed to run the numbers against our budget to ensure that there was a possibility of it working with our short term financial goals. I reminded him that I have company coming this weekend and he may not hear from me until Monday. He said that he would be ready to talk when I was.

He sounds very interested.

I've been working heinous hours this week (not complaining!)  and hadn't checked FB since about 8. I hope hope hope something works out for you soon, esp in the Dallas area.

Hey there..

I am going to open up on this because I need prayers.. Not a lot of people know so I am going to put it out there.. I need prayers maintaining my sobriety.. I fell off the wagon after 15 years recently and I jumped back on 32 days ago and it is getting shaky lately.. It has been tough to hang n and I feel the ride getting bumpy again.. Please say a prayer for me that I will stay strong.. 

FYI..  Please know that I made the choice to start drinking on my own.. Please don't try to analyze why I started drinking simply because I have no fu@king clue what happened.. All I know is that I am trying to get straight..

It bothers me to put this out there but if it helps one person that is what it is all about..

Ramon, I can't say honestly that I know where you are coming from.  But I was as close to an alcoholic as you can be.  My brother was, and died because of it.  You should have my cell number.  If at any time you need to talk to someone to keep you straight, call me.  If I can't answer, I can text.  On my job at night, I can text all I want.  No one bothers me.  On my afternoon and early evening job, I am the boss, so I can always talk on the phone up until about 9:15 or so.

I hate to see people make wrong choices.  It is so nice to see someone who feels in danger of making wrong decisions to ask for help.  We are there.  The prayers have begun.

Prayers said.  That's really brave of you to put this out there.  I really admire your courage.  You're stong enough to own up to it, and you're strong enough to stay sober.  No analysis or judgements here.  I just wanted to let you know that I believe in you. :-)
