Two Year Surgery Anniversary

Two years ago today I started my WL journey. It seems just like yesterday. I've been very fortunate not to have any complications. I'm a perfect example of how have WLS does not make your life perfect. Since WLS I've lost a brother, a job, and dealing with a terminally ill mother. But I am a good example of how you can go thru life challenges and still maintain your weight and can without turning to food. Having WLS has not only given me my health back but most importantly it has given me my OH family. You will never know how much your love and support has helped me with my WL journey but also has held me up thru the tough times. You make my heart full.

You inspire me DAILY, with your "grace under fire" attitude...you have no idea how much I look up to you. You can cuss someone and they don't even realize they have been cussed. You love for your family-both blood and chosen-shines thru in everything you do. I am SOOOOOOOOOO thankful to be part of that chosen family..can't begin to tell you HOW thankful I am..

Isn't it amazing how the time has flown.  I was just thinking that the other day when I realized I too was almost 2 years post op.  Thank you for all your words of encouragement over the last 2 years.  I am so glad that you have become a part of my life.
