Good morning Train Riders!!  Well we kind of got Jeff's car back yesterday.  The repairs and parts only cost about $600, so that was much better than the original estimate of $1100.  Jeff got in the car to go home and noticed that the check engine light was on and was staying on.  So we went back into the shop to ask "What the heck??".  Well, turns out the spark plugs need to be changed.  We knew that and Jeff will be fixing that this weekend.  The shop wanted around $130 to do it!!  So, once those are changed out we can take the car back and they will turn the light off.  UGH, so we parked the car over at Jeff's parent's house since neither of us liked the idea of driving around with the light on.

I didn't get to bed early like I planned yesterday, but I woke up feeling more rested.  Very odd indeed.  Nothing too big planned for today.  Work, work, work here, then Jeff and I have a meeting with our pastor.  Tonight I'll go over to Danni's and go through closets, somehow I think some of her stuff will migrate to my house.  LOL, funny how that happens.

Looking forward to a good weekend.  Check out the post about sunrise walking in McKinney.  I'd love to see a big group of us get together!  Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning train riders!

I'm afraid it's going to be one of those days.  Just as we went to bed last night our refrigerator started making a horrible noise.  DH got up and tried to fix it, but no luck.  After about an hour we just unplugged it and went to bed.  My dishwasher stopped working about 2 weeks ago and we haven't gotten around to having it fixed yet, just been washing dishes the old fashion way.  So today, no fridge and no dishwasher.  If my stove would just stop working now, we would have to go out for all our meals.  LOL!

So I've been sitting in the house for weeks with not much to do.  Yesterday my sister called from Seguin and asked me to meet her halfway today and bring our sister who lives in a group home.  So, since I had nothing to do, I said sure.  That meant I had to get up and out to the group home by 7:30 to pick up Kay before they leave for day therapy.  We'll leave around 10:30 and drive to Beeville for lunch.  She'll go home with Bylinda for a long weekend.  Then I have to rush home and wait for a repairman.

I think I need another cup of coffee.

Y'all have a great day and make good choices!
