I'm gonna aim for these:
To lose at 1200 calories, 50/25/25:
150 grams protein
75 grams carbs (quick rule of thumb here: keep total CARB grams half of total PROTEIN grams)
33 grams fat (quick rule of thumb here: keep total FAT grams half of total CARB grams)
To lose at 1000 calories, 50/25/25:
125 grams protein
63 grams carbs
28 grams fat

- Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.

Oh, one thing I forgot. I've seen MANY reports that say we typically UNDER-estimate our calorie intake or serving sizes by as much as 30%...and that's when we track what our intake is!!! So when I plan and log, I try to stay closer to the lower end of the ranges, knowing that I'm probably really at the upper end, allowing for unlogged or unplanned overages and under-estimations.
