Found Woody's by ACCIDENT - LOL!
We were heading south on I-45 before Centerville (I think - it was a long trip) and my son needed the restroom, so we pulled off at the next exit that had a Shell station. The sign outside said deli sandwiches and we were ready for dinner, so we decided to eat there.
When I went in, I was absolutely AMAZED at the deli counter. I have never seen so many types of jerky and sausages in my life! And all the canned jams, jellies, vegetables - it blew me away.
We ordered our sandwiches and sat down at one of the tables in the back to eat. I looked up and the sing over the door said "Woody's". I thought..... hmmmm...... that sounds familiar....... where have I heard that name ???
Then, I remembered - it was the place Stephanie talked about stopping at between Houston and Dallas !!!!
I will definitely be stopping there on my way to the Dallas OH convention in Sept.

The Woody's on the NORTH side is the better one. So it will be on the right when you head this direction in Sept. I absolutely LOVE their blackberry jam-luckily I don't dump cuz I'm sure it's loaded with sugar. Their BBQ is also really good.
