Great breakfast recipe

I modified a recipe my mom has for jalapeno cheese bars into a great breakfast item.  I grated most of a medium-large block of cheese, mixed with most of a small container of egg beaters and a package of Kashi premade pilaf (thick mixture).  Spoon it into a lasagna pan and bake 30 or 40 min on 350.  Cut after it cools and store it in ziplock snack bags.  I love them hot or cold, and they are just protein and multigrain goodness to substitute for the TOO SWEET protein bars I've been eating.  I never thought I'd use the words "too" and "sweet" in the same sentance.  The only drawback is that they are very parishable, so I can't throw them in my purse for the day like a bar.

sounds way yummy.  Where in the grocery store do you find the kasha pilaf?

I get it at HEB in the area with the rice-a-roni and other packaged side dish things.  I have also gotten it at Kroger in the diet and organic food section.  For the most part when it comes to carbs from grain, if Kashi doesn't make it, I don't eat it.
