Sunday WLS Express!

Hey Danni thanks for the encouragement. I know about posting from BB doing it right now but it is definitely a PITA! Our current contract runs through 7/24 so I think there ae 7 weeks left. It probably will be extended based on the amount of work there is. I'm thankful to be employed, just ready for a project that is a bit interesting and not on the East coast cuz travel to and from there stinks!

We're home from church.  We had a visiting priest this morning with a very odd and interesting sermon about how the church is Christ's "lover."  He actually used the word intercourse.  I wanted to look around and see if any of the little old lady's had heart attacks.  LOL.

I'm envious of all you folks who went gambling yesterday.  I wi**** wasn't so darned far to get anywhere from South Texas.  I stayed home while DH went to his family reunion north of Georgetown with his brothers.  All of the wives skipped this summer.  We'll go in October when they have their fall gathering. 

Instead, I cleaned my kitchen cabinets and refrigerator.  It's sparkling clean and organized.  Going to spend the day with DH today.  Going out for an early lunch and then maybe catch a movie.  Whatever we decide to do, we're just going to spend a day together.  It seems we don't get to do that as often as we used to. 

This week I'm going to continue my quest to get rid of stuff I'm not using.  Have you guys heard of Freecycle.com?  A friend told me about it.  As I weed stuff out that I don't want, I just post it on the message board and then I get an email from someone who wants it.  We arrange a pick up time and they come and get it.  It's so much easier than hauling stuff to Goodwill.  And it's conducive to getting rid of stuff as soon as I decide to get rid of it.  I highly recommend it if you have stuff you would just as soon give away.

Thank God the floor people showed up....finally !!!  LOL   They were suspose to be here this AM at 9 but didn't show up till 10:30 but thank GOD there were 4 of them today instead of the 2 that didn't do squat yesterday and yesterday they took a 3 1/3 hour lunch.   Wouldn't it be nice to have a job that you had a lunch that long and that you could start your day at 10:30 and leave at 3.   LOL   I know I wasn't home but hubby was and kept calling me telling me that they were still gone for lunch after 3 hours.   Can you tell I do everything.    LOL   I had to call the boss man and complain.    UGH  !!!!  Kinda the pitts huh???   Hopefully they can get the job finished today so I can start to unload the pod in my drive tomorrow.  Pray if you will for us.   Hubby's job will more and likely go on Strike today.    The co. is trying to take too much away from them.   I think that they are trying to take advantage of the economy.   Oh well...just praying if they strike it won't last that long.   We will have NO money coming in and with me getting this work done on the house...there is a crap load of it going out.   Have a great sunday ya'll !!!!

Good Morning, TMB!!

Yes, it's still morning by about 40 minutes.  Been up since 830 feeding the plants and reading the newspaper; cleaning the kitchen and getting laundry started. 

We have some projects planned today - new light on the garage that has a motion sensor on it; paint around the new light fixture in the kitchen; buy a new grill and grocery shopping!!  Fun stuff, right?!?!?

I'm working on a sneak attack on the beach for just an hour sometime today.  I have this bag of books I bought yesterday at the Rosenberg Library - a whole bag for 10 bucks!!!

Gotta go switch the laundry around - Prayers andf {{{{HUGS}}}} for all who need 'em!!

HEY Vickie V - are you coming to Houston with DH this week???  Let me know if you do and I'll come into Houston!!

Don't forget your VITS - WATER - PROTEIN first and EXERCISE.....No Matter What!!!

Liz,  sorry you still aren't any better.  Sounds like hot tottie time!!!  then get under the covers and sweat it out.

GOOD AFTERNOON- jumping on late. I was so tired I slept late, then didn't do much this morning until 10 when we left to run errands, make our weekly deposit like Becky at Wal-Mart, and ran to World Market to buy more SF vanilla syrup because Bryan likes it in his shakes. Its been very hard for him lately, so keep him in prayers please.
He came home and trimmed the bushes. And earlier he cleaned our bathroom- I call him the bathroom genie, lol. I took care of the kitchen and some laundry too. I pick up the living room and kitchen each morning now that we have a sitter each day at the house M-F.
I don't know why I'm so freaking tired lately. Its been going on for a few weeks now. I'm getting very tired of being tired!
Not much else to report. This week will be less busy than last week at work, but still full. Sat I'm working Light The Night for Sight at Alcon-that should be fun.
I'd love to go swimming someplace close by- we'll have to find something I suppose.
