GOOD MORNING! How is everyone today? Survive the storms again for those who had them- I'm thinking just the southern part but I didn'****ch the news at 10. I'm up too early, of course, but ready to go to Winstar. Never been before- sounds like fun.

Does anyone have a pack and play and/or a car seat we could borrow for a week in July? My sister is flying with baby Emily- well she's 1 now but still a baby- on July 14, and staying for a week. She doesn't want to check either understandably. If anyone can help, let me know.

Yesterday was neat- the Cowboys stadium is cool inside and everyone loved it. They put our welcome up on the HUGE jumbotron! I got a picture of me with it behind me. The staff was ABSOLUTELY amazing! Anything we needed, we had. The stadium is way above ADA standards in accessibility. Its just really neat. I was pretty tired afterwards. Came home and took a nap. Laid on heating pad because my back was hurting-still is this morning but better.

I think I'm going back to bed now! Hope everyone has a great Sat!

call me - have extra car seat (since I only have one car here) and the pack and play is neatly put away in K's closet so you are good to go - we even have an extra pool floaty thing for that age (one is at Debs but we do have 2)
Home is where the army allows me to live with my husband

I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail

thanks. we'll take you up on the car seat and maybe the pool thing too since we might go swimming. Can we get it at Steph's BBQ? That would be 3 days before they arrive. Or we'll work it out I'm sure.

Good morning.  Prayers for Debra and her son and DIL.  I hope everything is okay.

We had 3 busy days in Aggieland.  There was never much free time.  Most of the free time we spent walking from one place on campus to another.  I lost 2 lbs. doing all the hiking in the 100 degree weather.  I'm glad Ben is registered and that's over and done.  He's only taking 13 hrs. because the advisors told all of them NOT to register for more than 12 or so they're 1st semester there.  He's taking a biology, business math, sports psychology and sociology.  Lots of courses are already closed because of upperclassmen registering first.

We came home w/ lots of new A & M stuff and kept the economy well and alive in College Station.

I have a family breakfast to go to at my sister' this morning, a wedding at 2:00 if I make that, and dinner with my sister and brother and family that is 21 out on the lake this evening.  Ben always gets miffed because he can't go to the Wetdeck w/ us because he's not old enough.

Prayers to all who need them.

Karla

good morning all...

off to the Terrell Troopers Support Group meeting.  I have not been able to go in a while so I am looking forward to it.

I have to go to work for a few hours this afternoon.  After that, I plan to come home and work on my plan.  I have not been as diligent as I need to be and I believe my mind is ready to line up with the heart.

Please add this to your prayers as I do feel I can turn it around... but that little voice on the other shoulder is trying its best to keep me depressed.

later everyone

VICKI-I too have been striving to "turn some things around". What has really been helping me is just to WRITE down some very SIMPLE goals each day. I'm just using a plain simple, spiral notebook. The goals are "for my eyes only". Something about putting them in writing makes me more accountable, because I'm such a "visual" person. IF I reach a goal I put a sticker on my calendar...for me it's a Disney princess sticker...lol...but that's MY thing...silly...but it gets my butt moving, gets me to take my vitamins, etc. I think we each just have to find whatever little 'trick" works for US

Good Morning OH Family!

Working on my first cup of coffee and than going to go to Winstar to meet up my peeps. Mom was doing much better and was even able to sit up in the bed so I could give her a haircut. She had not had one since she had been in the hosptal in March. Glad to be home and in my own bed. I still think she had a mini stroke. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Your loved!

Lynnette
