Thursday WLS Express-soggy edition
Good Morning OH Family!
Hope everyone is ok after the storms last night. They are just now moving thru Lufkin right now. Hope it does not get too bad, mom and dad live in a mobile home. As long as the electricity stays on, to keep Mom's oxygen machine going. Mom is feeling better but still is having moments of confusion, nurse said it is an oxygen thing to the brain. Went to dinner last night with my niece and had a really good visit. If mom continues to be stable I will head back home tomorrow. Well time for another cup of coffee. Hope everyone stays safe and dry.
Your loved!

I'm feeling a little like Liz lately, not able to fall asleep the last couple of nights. Last night I decided to take Tylenol PM at 2 a.m. and I finally fell asleep. Then DH decided to work from home this morning and his darn phone started ringing (very loudly) at 7 a.m. I finally gave up and got out of bed at 8. But now I'm bleary eyed and grouchy.
I have an appointment for a haircut at 1 o'clock. DH will be in Houston tonight and tomorrow. I had plans to meet some friends for drinks and dinner tonight, but they canceled this morning. So, I think I'll make my grocery list and go to the grocery store this afternoon. I'm trying to think of something easy to make for dinner that will also work for lunch on Saturday. Maybe I need more coffee, because I can't think of anything.
Tomorrow I have to make a couple of dishes for DH to take to his family reunion on Saturday. They have 2 reunions a year. This one is for the extended family and is usually around 200 people. I don't enjoy it, so I'm sending food and staying home. The one in October is only for direct descendants of DH's grandparents. It's still about a hundred people and it's a lot more fun.
Could y'all send some of that rain down south? We're high and dry and could really use the rain. Hope you all have a great day.
