I hope his trip is as memorable as yours- I am looking forward to seeing changes when he comes home now
I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
Good Morning My TMB Family,
Sounds like everyone got those storms last night. We got them here yesterday afternoon. I was on my way home from the base and it just let loose. It was raining so hard and so windy, I could not see two feet in front of me not to mention every time I saw the lightening I jumped a mile out of my seat. I dont mind the storms but I would prefer to be at home when they happen. They are taking about more for this afternoon. Really glad I dont have to go anywhere today. My stomach has been really bad the last couple of days. What stinks is I can not each much. I am so afraid of getting sick like I did before and having to go back into the Hospital. I am keeping an eye on my weight just to be safe. Also trying to drink lots of fluids. It has even been hard to take vits (but I have been) just takes all day to take them. Last night Mark and I were working on changing the Chandelear in the entry way and we got one down and never got the other one up cause the pain was so bad I could barely move. Oh well it is what it is, and I need to deal with it I guess. Nothing on the agenda for today and I am looking forward to a quiet day at home. I really should get out and walk but we will see what the day brings. Prayers for those in need. Liz I sure hope you are feeling better soon. I think you need to go back to the doctor. Alissa, so far I have not heard I am board from Eric but I know its coming. Have a blessed day. Love you guys. Michelle
Didn't make it to our support group meeting in McKinney last night. Was getting ready for it and heard the weather forcast and decided not to go. Glad I made that decision, in less than 30 mins. I was sitting in my bathtub in the center of my house with my flashlight and little dog. Tornado warning sirenes going crazy (it's about 2 blocks from my house). Went on like that for almost an hour. Thankfully nothing happened but wind, rain and lightening. Lost power around 7:30 and didn't get it back till midnight. More rain today. Girls will be trapped inside with me!!! Heaven help me!! Y'all stay safe in the rain and storms today. Try to have a great day~
Blessings,
Carol

Started reading before posting and almost ran out of time. YIKES!!
Am on my way to my last Bible study of this session this morning. We are having brunch along with the study. I'm taking my Top Secret Recipes version of the Lemon Loaf from SBX. It's pretty yummy. Not as "tall" as the original, but the taste is pretty close. :)
Still dealing with the emotional stuff with my Mom. Kept the chips to 2 snack bags again yesterday. Really hoped to keep it to one, but finished my second before I realized what I was doing. Managed to stay away from them for the rest of the day....and DIDN"T eat the ice cream as a substitute, so I'm calling yesterday a WIN!! :) Really working on drinking more water. Seems to be helping. I'm down a pound this morning. :)
Other than that, all is as usual in VA. Busy, busy, busy. Just like I like it. :) Love and prayers for all. MAKE GOOD CHOICES!!
Good morning everyone,
What an adventure last night. The storm was something else. I was at the church with Debbi for the support group meeting and got a text from Matt and she got a call from Jeff so we decided to call it and head home. Well, we waited to long for me. I got hit pretty hard on the way home with wind and rain, and then some idiots on Central decided that their cars were more precious then everyone elses, so they stopped under the bridge at Exchange Parkway and totally blocked the highway. I was stuck on the highway 2 cars behind these idiots with the entire highway blocked and no way to get around them. Finally after about 15 minutes, 2 lanes of the cars went and I was able to get on home. I was furious. My son called me from Fairview saying they either had tornado or straight line winds there that were very bad and took out power. Matt's power went out in Bedford around 7pm and he is still without power this morning. What a night.
Saying prayers for all of you. Have a great day.
Hope to have power sometime today.
Prayers for all affected. Hope everyone is safe.
