Good Morning OH Family!

My woohoo is that I get to spend some more time with my Mom. The good news is that she finally stop throwing up and is coherent today. I was really worried cause Mom has had no dementia at all but yesterday was saying odd things. Might have been the phenergan. I got a really bad haircut yesterday. I asked for short but she bout shaved me! Oh well good news is my hair grows fast.Just going to spend quality time with Mom today and give Dad a break. He never leaves her side. Prayers for our Liz that the job comes thru. Prayers our John that the Dr's will finally start a treatment to help him feel better. Hope every has a wonderful day! Take a moment to let people know you love them!

hope everyone has a good day..

working on the mental of all of this...  I have got to work on several areas: water, protein vitamins... the basics... oh and get moving...  My brain knows what I need to but I am not following thru with it...

I plan to attend the Terrell Troopers Support Group meeting Saturday.  They are always a nice bunch and very encouraging...

Good morning all...what a sucky day at work yesterday.  We were attacked by "full moon hell" in the labor and delivery department!!  We had every room full and had people sitting in the waiting room on and off all day.  Plus we were 2 nurses short.  I had one patient that was pregnant with twins who went into preterm labor 2 months early, that also had bronchitis and pneumonia AND needed blood transfusions.  As the shift progressed she went into full blown respiratory distress and was very close to getting coded.  We ended up stabilizing her and transferring her to Big Baylor after my shift ended.  Like she wasn't enough to handle,  I also did a c-section on another patient and had 4-5 outpatients.  I didn't get home until 8:45 last night.  Thankfully I'm off today.  One of my discs in my lower back has been protrubing for 4 days and I'm absolutely miserable.  Might be time to go see my chiropractor.

After reading that it sounds like this is Whiney Wednesday, not WooHoo Wednesday.  Sorry, it was just a really bad day.  Prayers for Liz and Jenn D on their job status'.  Prayers that Lynnette has a good day with Mom today.  Thankful that our Karen is back and prayers for her grandbaby.  Time to catch up on everyone else's lives...

Only have a few minutes to post but wanted to say hello out there and let you know that I had a blast on vacation in Florida and am ready to go back..:)
I love and miss you all.. My daughter in law is going to see Dr. Barker tomorrow to try to start the process on surgery. She doesn't know yet what she is going to do. She has been leaning towards the Lapband and I told her what ever she chose was great. I told her to listen to the Dr and let him tell her the advantages of all the proceedures and then choose. I said that no matter what she did it would be the best thing she would ever do for herself.
She really needs to lose some weight and has been having a tough time of it for a while now.
So, I am keeping my fingers crossed and saying my prayers for her.
Ok gotta get back to work so I will talk to you all again soon.

My public WooHoo for the day - the property manager at this complex just happens to be married to a Comcast repairman so she got him to fix my cable today!  YEA!!! 

The day at the office was almost more than I could take.  There's this woman that talks constantly - not to people, but to herself, her monitor, her phone, her chair, just a mumbler.  I'm going to be deaf after this project from having my iPod so loud all day to drown out her droning.

Checked out the fitness center at the apt. today - actually jumped on the treadmill for walking / jogging for a mile, then the bicycle for a miles and tried to figure out the weight machine.  I probably won't be able to walk tomorrow!

Steph - hope your back get better soon!
Karen - hope the CPS thing turns out in your favor
Lynnette - I don't know how you do it.  Enjoy every second with your mom.  I'd give one of my saggy boobies for one more day with my daddy!
