I had surgery 7.14.05 and lost 140 lbs. I have gained back 33 and need help!  I have reprinted my doc's "rules" and gotten back to the gym but am petrified I will continue to gain.

Any suggestions on jump-starting?
Thanks for all of the help.

Aww, SueBear...I haven't had my surgery yet, but just wanted to give you a .  I'm sorry you are feeling scared.  Try to remember how excited you were back in '05 and bring those feelings forward to now and use that energy to kick-start your weight loss again.  I'll be rooting for you!

Suebear, I gained 50 lbs back and have recently started back on track. Happy to say I have lost 5 lbs by getting back to the basics and walking at least 30 minutes a day, sometimes more. You can do it.

I would like to help you but you cant fix stupid.

 Hi Sue,

What I have done lately is to measure my food and count calories.    I try to not eat more than 3/4 cup of food at  a meal and concentrate on high protein foods.     Also I try to not take in more than 1000 calories a day.   Make sure you are taking all your vitamins and drinking all your water too.    We want to keep you healthy !!!  We are all here for you girl.    Oh I did loose 71/2 lbs the first week of doing what I told you.....Good luck to you.   You can PM me anytime if you want to talk.   I had my RNY 4 months after you did so I can certainly relate to you.   Good luck sweetie and don;t give up....your tool still works !!!!

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Sue you have taken the first step.  I am 2 years out and have gained only a couple of pounds but still worry.  I have got to start walking and exercising again.  I think toning up will make me feel better.  I know you can do this.  Keep coming here for help.  We are here for you.
