Having Surgery at noon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VSG Here I come!!!!
I'm sooooooo excited I can't even stand it! I get to start my life all over today! I am having the VSG today and have to be at the hospital at noon. I've waited for this for YEARS. I can't wait and I didn't sleep a minute last night. I feel like a little kid the day before the first day of school. All gitty and glowing! I've lost a good 5% of my excess weight before surgery and I'm soooo ready to get the rest off! Can't wait to be on the bench with all the other "losers" HEHEHEHEHE. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers today that all goes well! I love OH and all that it has helped me with!

My surgery went fine, but on Thursday, when I was suppose to come home I developed Cardiac Arrhythmia. They rushed me down to IMC for continuous observation. They pumped me full of heart meds and finally on Friday afternoon my arrhythmia broke into normal sinus rhythm. I came home yesterday and am feeling fine. I am not hungry at all and my roommate keeps pushing me to drink more fluids. It is hard but I know I have to do it. I will continue the clear liquids for another week to make sure I am healing properly. I haven't been nausas at all but I burp alot.
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
Hugs,
DeborahL.

Best of luck!!!!!! So glad to hear your excited and eager.............I was that way too on surgery day!
The first week after surgery is a little hard - just recovering - soreness and getting the anethesia out of your system but it get so much better from there. Take it slow and easy and of course - Walk, Walk , SIP SIP and rest in between!
