10 Ways to Manage Your Weight on Psych Meds
I know there are quite a few people on anti-depressants and/or anti-anxiety meds. I saw this article that is not about WLS and the meds but it makes sense even for us. It got me thinking that maybe the anxiety attacks I had started having could be partly related to the 10 lbs I gained 3 months ago that I could not get rid of no matter what I did to adjust my diet.

Mazie, THANK YOU for this article. I've just read it and know what I need to do. The meds I think are making it harder for me to get these 8 lbs off too, but I am much happier with everything else going on in life with the meds. It's a catch 22.

Hey Gina, they just upped my meds 2 weeks ago and I think it helped me relax and quit stressing about the weight gain and some other things in my life I have not controll over. This decrease in my stress level or rather my ability to handle it better now and a couple of other small changes I think have helped because I am at least back in my window and have only 5 lbs to go now!!!!! You hang in there because you can do this and definitely don't stop your meds if they are working for you.
