I have to be at the hospital at 7:30 for my 9:30 surgery time.  I have all of my goodies packed (thanks to you all for letting me know what to bring)  I've gone grocery shopping for myself and hubs.  I also cleaned my house because I knew that it would drive me crazy after.

Keep me in your thoughts and prayers for an uneventful surgery!

Mary

Mary, you're in great hands.  Dr B is a wonderful surgeon so just drift off to sleep and think happy thoughts as you do.  Before you know it, you'll be lying on the bea*****ancun in a bikini...

You will be in my prayers.  You are in the best hands out there as far as I am concerned.  I will say this don't stress if your surgery isn't at 9:30.  I know mine was suppose to be at 7:30 and I think it happened about 9:30.  Now that was 2 years ago at a different hospital but the surgery scheduler told me Dr. Barker has been know to tell is scope patients to be there early and he will do those first so he can get them out of the way and concentrate on his surgeries.  But the good news is that in 24 hours you will be up walking and with us on the losers bench.  Get up every chance you can while you are at the hospital and walk as much as you can.  It will make you feel so much better if you do.  If you need anything just ask.

I don't think the postponement due to the scopes will happen because he is now doing all his scopes every other saturday.

That good.

It's now 10 am.  I am hoping you are in surgery and will be out soon.  Let us know when you are home and how you are feeling.  Welcome to the losers side!!!
