Thursday WLS Express
Today Bryan starts his liquid diet, for 3 weeks. Please keep him in prayers that he can stay strong and do this. I know he's very motivated and I'm so proud of the changes he's already made in his diet to get ready for surgery.
So, my quote- its from Jana Stanfield's song Butterfly and it says "Losses can bring us to blessings we cannot explain". When I first heard it I was struck by it. I didn't believe it, but I wanted to. My first husband had passed away and I was desperatley trying to regain some hope for the future. This helped me. Most of my favorite quotes are from songs. Alot from Jana too. She has very healing songs.
Time to get moving. Hope you all have a fantastic day today!
Mom and Dad leave tomorrow for their Alaska Cruise. It's their 50th Anniversary this year and they decided to take a cruise they've always wanted to go on. I'm going to be house sitting, but we'll probably have the dogs here quite a bit. They have two Maltese/Bichon Fricshe mix dogs that are 9 years old. I can't believe they are that old! She just got them last year! LOL! At least it seems that way!
Well, I'd better get iin the shower and get to work. I'm working at the North Carrier Annex helping out with their files. They have not thrown out anything in about 7 years!! And nothing was filed! It was all just stuffed into a room and left so I'm going through it and getting rid of the old stuff getting it ready to shred and filing the new stuff. They've been comlaiining that they don't have room for any thing, well,... duh!!
Alissa, give Chris and Bryan my love and let Bryan know that these 3 weeks will be over so fast that he won't even know where the tiime went!! I'm so proud of both of your men! You're very lucky!
Have a great day everyone! Love ya!

Good Morning Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family,
Well FINALLY a night without storms and I actually slept till just a few minuets before the alarm went off. My quote today, comes straight from the Bible "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that who so ever beliveth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." I thank God every single day for this passage, and that I believe. Today is Eric's last day of school. We have award ceramonies at 8:30. Looking forward to seeing my boy get his awards. He wants me to take him home after and I just may do that, have not decided yet. We got word yesterday that they have a house for us on base. Went and looked at it last evening and it is very nice. We are excited to get out of this house and put it on the market. We are set up to have the movers come and pack us up on the 16th and 17th and move us on the 18th. We could go sooner then that as the house is ready, but we have to much to do around here to make it happen. Met with the realtor last night, and we have every confidince that she will be able to sell this house for us. Having a huge Yard Sale on Saturday, in hopes of getting rid of a lot of stuff that no longer gets used. Hope we make some money too. Have not done a yard sale since I was in High School. Between yard sales, and birthday parties it is going to be a busy weekend. Well guess that is all for now. Prayers for those looking for work, or having 2nd interviews, and for those healing from surgery. Have a blessed day. Love you guys. Michelle
