Thank you everyone for the kind words of encouragement:

to answer a few questions or curiousity:   I don't keep anything in the house - so at home is NOT the problem.......................at work is..................being away from home is the problem.

I am maintaining and I'm not happy -  I have gained about 5 lbs  - here and there and NO  - I am not happy with that...............I have lost that 5 lbs too......................but I am not satisfied with where my weight is...................I want to get to "goal" ...........................I"m hoping that my body is NOT saying that I'll be this size forever................grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr   but I suppose with what I've done is much much better for my health than ever.......................I know - only I can attain what I set out to attain.............................

Phyllis, if you really want to get to goal, I suggest you journal your food.  Honestly that's what got me there.  If I had to write it down in black and white, it kept me accountable.  I logged every single bite and let me tell you it prints a pretty picture of just exactly WHAT you're eating and where you need to make changes.  Also when people "date" they tend to eat out a lot and that will rapidly cause weight gain so be careful of that.  I try to keep healthy snacks at work in several varieties so I always have something to choose from.  We'd love to see you post every day on the Jumpstart June thread, it helps with accountability too.

DATING:    UHMMM   yeah -  but I make better choices at the restaurants than I ever have..........

thank you for your words of encouragement.

TODAY HAS BEEN A MUCH BETTER DAY.

FUNNY how I decided that TODAY was going to be the day to get serious again.  ...again....

I came back from lunch and there was a piece of HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE on my desk.............I had been asked earlier today if I liked cheesecake.......I said "yes"........I didn't know that we had it in the office....................I'm proud to say that I took it back to her and she gave it to someone else who could afford the calories................Unknown to me - that it was someone's birthday -  NOT That person though and I knew then that I had what it takes to continue on even though I'm not "new" anymore and this journey should be just as important to me at 20 mos out as it was in the first 5 months.......etc.......I JUST HAVE TO SAY NO TO WHAT I KNOW THAT I SHOULDN'T BE EATING - although I now know - I really don't dump on anything - except for if I just eat too much......I get really nauseated and "sleepy"........tired.....sleep it off - like a drunk I guess...................

Much much much better today................I haven't grazed today either like I have been...........AND I'M NOT HUNGRY EITHER...................

Good job on the cheesecake Phyllis.

After two plus years,  they stop at  my desk everytime there is food and especially every month with ice cream and ask.  I used to tell them to keep it in the freezer and I would take it to Emma, but now she doesn't eat it either.

I just tell them I want it but my stomach just can't digest it.  That usually does it.
