Do you take an acid blocker?

I didn't until I started my arthritis meds.  Now I take Protonix - a scrip.

Nope...don't take one.  Dr. Garth did a scope on me a while back when I had some odd ball stitch that came out of no where and blocked where the food left the pouch and he had to remove the stitch.  After that he gave me Nexium for like 10 days and that was it.  No other problems in nearly five years though.

I have been on Nexium for years.  I continue to take it.  I skipped it for a while and had to go back to it.  Reflux.

Before surgery I ate Zantac like M&M's .... now at my surgeon's request I take Protonix nightly.  Haven't tried to go without it yet.  It's only $5 a month and it's not worth the heartburn to give it up!
