I didn't really have time to read everyone else's answers, cause I wanted to make sure I have time to POST.  First of all, I don't think I've posted to you yet, but I've been following your journey, and I'm so excited about what you've got right ahead of you...and getting to share it with you.  I think you're doing great and have a wonderful attitude!!

A quick couple of pointers...take em or leave em, it's just my 2 cents....

1.  I like more bang for my buck with the protein drinks, and I'm not talking about $$$.  I mean, 16 grams isn't much at a time.  If you're willing to do the nasty drinks anyway, you might as well go for it.  Some protein powders have as much as 40+ grams in 1-2 scoops that you can mix with 8 oz of liquid.  The bullets have over 40 grams in 3 oz.  I'd split it into at least 2 servings to make sure you're absorbing all of it, but no need to drag it out over your entire day (unless you just like them).

2.  Fruit juice...no,no,no.  What they give you in the hospital to keep you nourished for a couple days, and how you're gonna live your life, are not the same. If you're gonna get the calories anyway, go for whole fresh, fruits when you can (I know you can't yet), not just the juice, and get ALL the vits and fiber with it. Fruit juice is just wasted calories to me, if I'm gonna splurge it's gonna be chocolate. :-)

3. Skip the crackers and mac & cheese at lunch and eat some protein....cottage cheese, refried beans, whatever you can currently eat. The mac & cheese doesn't have enough protein compared to the carbs and fat that you're getting, especially if you're only eating 5 bites..you probably only got 1 gram of protein in the whole lunch.  When you can't eat much, make each bite count!!  At your stage, my ideal lunch would have twice as many proteins as carbs, and twice as many carbs as fat.  (i.e. 24 grams of protein, 12 grams of carbs, and 6 grams of fat = about 200 calories...that would be about 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and 1/4 cup of tuna salad...probably can't eat that much yet)

4. And I should have made this #1.  Adapt this for whatever YOUR doc lets you have at 2 weeks out.  If that's only protein shakes, then skip everything I said, and keep doin what you're doin. :-)

Lastly, do as I say, not as I do.  :-)   Just said that to let you know, that no matter what "smart" (or not) advice I gave you, I'm not perfect either, and don't claim to be.  I waste calories ALL the time on stupid things, but above is what I do when I'm doing what I should.

Thanks for the compliments!!!! I am excited to get to share my journey with you too!!!

Thanks so much Loralea!!! I too, have never posted to you, but I have read all your posts and such!!!

Thanks for the advice!!! I have a can of refried beans at the house and I'm gonna cook those up tonight and it will probably last for my lunch for the rest of the week. I also have a whole thinkg of cottage cheese!! I've never tried it, even post op and need to see what it is like!

I can not eat tuna for some reason, i think it's dumping that I get when I've tried it. Not actually gotten sick, but feeling sick for about 4 hours... but I keep trying it just in case!

I am happy to announce that for the second day in a row I have gotten 66 grams of protein in... i actually have found some power that I like. It's not as good as some of the others like nectar, but I tolerate this and love all the flavors I've found! I don't even mind drinking them throughout the day! It makes me stay full and then at my 'meal time', if i can even call it that at this point, I'm not starving hungry! I am lacking on the 64 oz of liquds today, but I think 2 more bottles of water will put me over 70 oz for the day!!!!

Thanks again for all your great advice!!! I can't wait for next week when I can start eating some chicken and beef, or at least trying them! I won't fail at this!!! I am so determined and everyone 2 cents is read and taken to heart!!! :)

Thanks again girl!! Have a great night!!
