My how things have changed
Wow, 6 months ago yesterday my beautiful baby girl was born. My how things change. Almost 2 years ago I was getting a divorce, Yeah, I know, I moved fast, had to latch on to her before she got away!! LOL
Anyway, the reason for this post is to talk about the positive changes in my life since WLS. I wouldnt change it for the world. I have a beautiful wife, a beautiful daughter I believe are a direct result of WLS changing my outlook on life. The x didnt support me in my WLS journey and didnt even want me to have it. The old saying that a bad releationship gets worse after WLS is true. Mine got worse. But, I met Michelle at the apartment complex that I moved into after selling the house. We became best of friends. I had some GOOD times during that period. And prior to Michelle and I starting to date. It was all good and it was all life lessons, life pleasures that would have never been learned or enjoyed had I not had WLS.
Now to the downside. You have to stay on your program. I am a living example that if you start doing the same ole same ole, as far as eating habits, your going to fail. I by no means consider myself a failure, I am still 115 lbs lighter than my heaviest. Dont let things in your life take precedent to you exercising, taking your vitamins, eating right, etc. etc.
Ok, enough of that.
Michelle, I love you and appreciate you so much for putting up with all my Hooters requests, fishing trips, etc. etc.

I would like to help you but you cant fix stupid.
Well .... Happy 1/2 year birthday to baby girl! Hopefully she will be there Thursday night for Starbucks. I would love to hold her. You're right on slipping back into bad habits....we have come tooooo far to let it all go now. You are still a success and will be back to where you were in no time!~~~
Good for you on reckongnizing you have slipped back. Good for you for admitting it and not hiding out. That would have been the easiest thing to do. Some Veterans think it is ok to go and hide and not be around all the peeps that are newbies if they have gained weight or gone back to their bad habits. Newbies need to see us Veterans that are struggling. They need to know "Their easy ride, Their Honeymoon Phase" WILL END" Just like ours did. We are here to help each other out. They help me to remember how good we can feel again. I can help them to see what mistakes I have made and learn from them hopefully.
Hugs to you, Michelle and your beautiful baby girl... You have done a great job with all three.....:)
