I almost typed in "May Motivation"...it's hard to realize it's already June!

Maintained since yesterday...I figure that's better than a gain.  I did okay eating wise yesterday.  I really didn't eat too much,. but we fried the eye of rd...I was trying to fix something I knew Ben would eat...couldn't get too creative after work.I did  get in 2 protein drinks and 128 or so oz. of liquids.

Today's plan:
lots of liquids
at least 2 protein drinks
tuna w/ some crackers for lunch
1-100 cal. pk. snack
homemade canadian bacon pizza for dinner
fruit for snack

How are you Jumpstarting June?

karla,

I think it was you that was doing the tuna last week and you inspired me to get it a try again.
well body is agreeing to it again and liking it.  My appetite is back down quite a bit for that I am extremely grateful.  I was beginning to wonder if I would ever get that tackled.  Weight back down to lowest  at 152.6.

Today's menu - same as yesterday - same song, second verse...lol

high fiber english muffin
cheese, scrambled egg and ham/bacon

tuna salad with mayo and mustard
spring mix lettuce
tomato and pickle
cheese
pita pocket/ high fiber one.

chicken strips breaded in pannko crust
pork and beans or peas or something

water, water water

Jumping - I don't know so much about "jumping" this early in the morning!!

I don't have a scale with me on the road - intentionally.  Hoping for pleasant surprises when I get in on the weekend.  Usually though, the 4 hour flight does me in with the whole swollen ankles/feet thing, so I don't see any real results until Sunday.

I actually brought food to work today.

Breakfast:   PURE Protein Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar
Mid-Morning Snack, if needed:  2 Colby Jack Cheese Sticks
Lunch:  Ham and Cheese Rollups and Pumpkin Cheddar Crackers (that I won as a door prize @ RYD conference last month)
Dinner:  I'm leaning towards just having Carnation Instant Breakfast

One bottle of water down; 2 sitting on my desk plus 12 oz mug of decaf tea.

Three flights of stairs.

My day is started smoothly and hoping it continues that way!

Yesterday was pretty good for me too.

Breakfast: protein drink

Lunch: cheese ravioli

Snack: low fat trash mix

Dinner 4 oz grilled chicken, one ear of corn

Snack: Strawberries, 1/2 banana

UNPLANNNED SNACK: 6 black licorice sticks (my latest addiction).

Took ALL my B-12 and other vitamins.  Now I need to come up with a plan for today.  Need to go open the freezer door and see  what's there.

Scale was down again this morning down to 146 5lbs under goal. The good news is I feel restriction in my pouch, bad news is did not get enough calories in. But did increase my protein. Becky I forgot about the tuna salad I'm going to make that for lunch today. Don't know about dinner. Summer and I are going to a study group at the church tonight so will probably go out to eat.

Your loved!

Jumpstart into June...
Starting weight this month was 190 lb
Goals:
1) Attend the support group at Tawnya's on June 17th - OVERCOME my fear of 'rejection' (all in my mind) and put myself out their personally

2) No "binging" on my splenda intake-- I drank coffee with creamer only, and I LOVED IT!!

3) I already exercise daily: but after I workout and I didn't beat my time on  mile or 3 miles or I didn't do 4 rounds in the 20 minutes, etc... I BEAT myself up, "should've" "could've" or "would've" done better if... I am going to start CELEBRATING and REMINDING myself daily that

1) I am up exercising at 5:30 or 6 in the morning before work--
I could be sleeping in. At least I am doing it!
     2) I am becoming HEALTHIER
     3) I finished the workout despite how hard it is-- REGARDLESS of TIME-         i completed it!
     4) improving my self-esteem

4) Post Daily on the TMB and on the jumpstart for june thread--
     ACCOUNTABILITY for myself.
  POSTING!! Need it today!!

5) For ONE month (no excuses-- I can't say 'tomorrow'):
Continue daily logging on fitday: no carbs. -- DID
Start daily exercise journaling that included feelings, and + affirmations--DID and learning that I need to always have my "rest" days!!
End of the day- daily journaling (it does not have to be perfect)-- did yesterday despite struggling emotionally, yesterday-- needed it and it helped!

6) Weigh again in 2 weeks on June 15 & 29

7) Give myself permission that I don't have to be "perfect"!
***REALLY NEED TO WORK ON THIS AND BELIEVE IT***

I didn't give into my "emotional- head hunger" although it was SCREAMING loudly yesterday evening.... I had to keep reframing my negative messages and BELIEVE I am worthy...
