Helpful hint for those of you trying to get in your water.  I have a standing rule- No water, no food.  Meaning- before I eat everytime I drink a glass of cold water.  Not only do I get my water in but by working the water into my lunch hour I am not the first one to finish eating.  I had to develop this habit bc I used to be a big eat and drinker.  So, now that we don't eat and drink anymore at the same time I do my drinking before to let my mind know it doesn't need water when I am eating.  Good Luck

Most docs recommend not drinking for 30 minutes BEFORE or AFTER meals but if your docs says it's OK then go for it.  Another system I've found is to fill 6 bottles with water and put them in the refridge each night.  They must be gone before bedtime the next night so you can refill them again.

My June goals are:

To get rid of these 2.2 pounds keeping me from screaming GOAL!
To get back in a routine of walking daily
Asking dr. for a prescription for Chantix on Friday to help me quit smoking - I tried for 2 months on my own and have acknowledged I need help.

My goals for June include:

1.   working on portion control

2.  Limit snacks to specific times of the day (no unplanned grazing)

3.  Stay within my 5 lb maintanence range

4.  remember to DOUBLE my B-12 everyday.

5.  Plan my meals

Hmmm, funny how each doc is different.  My doc wants us to water load before we eat and no liquids for an hour and a half after.
