oh how I wish.. but this month of no travel is preparing and saving for NEXT month's travel to you.  Hate that gas decided to go up again, but it's no real surprise.   I really do have to learn to be okay here by myself and, umm, as someone very important to me told me yesterday, "get off your arse and get out of that house!"  So I am gonna try and explore this town I live in and see what there is for me here.

I would sooo love to host a weekend down here sometime.. We do have some awesome shopping if nothing else.

Well I started the month at 191 and today I was 181.  Not where I had hoped to be at the end of the month but I'll take it. 

So how did I do on my goals for the month???

1.  EXERCISE 3x's a week  Didn't happen at all!
2.  drink at least 80oz of water a day if not more Had some issues this month with some meds I was taking and they made me really tight so I was doing good to get 64oz in a day.
3.  lose 13lbs to reach my 100lb mark by my 1st sugiversary on the 30th I missed the mark yesterday by 4lbs... I was disappointed but on the other had I was down 96lbs.... not too shabby in a year!!!!

So today I'm going to sit down and write out my goals for June... I anxious to get the summer started and finish this part of my journey!

Good Morning,

I had lost about 12 pounds.  However, last week the carb monster trapped me, so my total lost for the month is about 8 pounds.  I am ready for the Jumpstart June.  My meal for today is loaded with carbs so hopefully these carbs will last me for the next two weeks while I am low carbing.

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown

May Goals:
1. Workout 5x/week unless I start losing too much weight again. Then I'll have to adjust to keep the weight in check.
2. Wednesday, 4/22 I could barely eke out 100 crunches with 40 lbs. on my shoulders. 5/1, I did 220. By the end of the month, I'd like to be at 700. And hopefully, I'll have awesome little contours to show for it.
3. Do something that brings me joy each day.

Results:
1. I got in at least 4 gym workouts each week and lots of other activity between painting and swimming.
2. I can do 700 crunches with a 40 lb. counterweight in just two sets. The first of 450 and the second of 250. My abs don't look as cool as I thought they would, but I'm going to keep it up.
3. I'm truly trying to take pleasure in the small victories as those are all I have most days. I am a planner and do not function well when there are many unknown variables like there are in my life right now.

I have no idea what my June goals are going to be. I'll try to put some thought into that today and will post tomorrow.

I didn't quite reach my goal of being under 160 - close, though!  This morning I was at 160.4.  I am ready for Jumsptart June and need to think about my goals for the month.  It will be my last full month before my surgiversary.  The year has FLOWN by!

I love this idea.  I want to jump on-board.

My June Goals:
 - Portion Control
 - Chew more & eat slower
 - Drink more water
 - Track daily food intake & activity
 - Lose 3-5 pounds
 - Exercise
 - Take vitamins
