PROTEIN, VITAMINS, WATER.. Are you ready for the week??? Don't let it catch you
We all know that being unprepared leads to carb crashing, sugar crashes, missed vitamins and on and on. I did it to myself this afternoon when I had a massive headache at 2pm and realized I still hadn't eaten. So here's how I prepare for the week.
I have 6 water bottles filled from my BRITA and in their bag ready at the door.
I have all my vitamins packed for the week in my food bag.
I have eggs and ham in individual cups in the frig for 4 days.
I have tuna salad made and in individual cups for 4 days. Lettuce and tomatoes in snack baggies for 4 days. Pita bread in sandwich bags for 4 days.
Chicken strips baked with panka bread crust in the frig for dinners or snacks.
I do have lots of reruns but it keeps me from having to really try and figure out what I want.
So are you ready??? Do you have backup for when it's meal time or you get the munchies and need food???
what's your plan?

At home I have all my lunches ready so each morning I just grab what I need from the fridge or freezer and I'm off. This week for lunch I will be having dill tuna salad, chicken chili, crab talapia, seafood salad, and cheese/ham soup.
I also take a protein bar for an afternoon snack and I keep SF pudding and jello cups in my fridge at work. One of my best investments was the little dorm sized fridge I keep in my office!!!!
For dinner I will usually have some type of fish or chicken.
About one weekend a month I will cook up 4-5 entrees and freeze them in serving size containers. I hate to cook and this makes it easy to just grab something for lunch or dinner if I'm short on time or just don't feel like cooking.

your menu sounds awesome compared to mine. I am a simple cook for the most part. And i don't like cooking either, especially if it's just me while Emm is gone. When I do cook, it's also in bigger batches.
Now, tell me, what is Oh Yeah?

Thanks Becky for starting this thread. For one thing, it made me remember to go take 2 MORE B-12's. I'm trying to remember to double it everyday. While I was there I filled my vitamin box for the week.
I made 2 protein drinks earlier and put them in the frezer for breakfast the next 2 days. I have my ham/cheese and mini croussaint ready for lunch tomorrow and I took out 2 frozen chicken breasts to thaw for dinner tomorrow night. I have strawberries all cut up and will take a banana to work too for "fresh fruit" snack time. I'll also take some low fat trash mix so I'll have choices of snacks with me.
Also have to weigh tomorrow. It's the Jumpstart or Jump into June challenge tomorrow so I need to know where I'm starting from. I have my goals ready so I'm ready to roll.
I'm ready...how 'bout you?
