Friday 5/29 Nigh****ch Assistant Reporting for Duty!

ok well i know im not V's mom, but if there is ANYTHING AT ALL i can do for her during this time of uhh tribulation (?) lord knows i will! We love V over at the crazy house lol. and would do anything in the world for her. i HATE HATE HATE she has to deal with this (having been there ya know) and i wish like h*ll i could crawl on my hands and knees for her so she woudlnt have to either. Please let me know if you can think of ANYTHING we could do that would help. she's sucha great kid. .i hate like hell she's having to deal with this :(

Hey girl....
Yeah, it got rather ugly about a week or so ago around here. OMG, came home from the doc, her weight has jumped like another 20 pounds and now struggling BIG TIME. Unfortunately this is going to be something that plagues her all her life unless she makes some big time changes in her eating. This past week has been tough because she went through the denial stage at the doc when she was told of her weight, then ANGER (at anyone who even remotely LOOKED at her), then the boohooey stage when I told her she HAD to go to the gym. The variety thing has been HORRIBLE since she hates most fruits and veggies. What she DOES like, she really doesn't want to eat EVERY day. Some of that crap is tough to drag to school, too. I think she KNOWS that we're only looking out for her health but at 14, it's not fun to be on a bonafide DIET when all your friends are sitting there eating basically whatever they want. That's tough!!! Geez, already almost 1 am - no wonder the house is quiet!!! Are you working this weekend or get some time off?

OMG, if you only knew...
Wish I had a magic wand that worked too just so she wouldn't have to go through the HELL she has to go through! She just wants to be "like the rest of them". Some of these kids can eat damn near anything, almost nothing BUT junk (carbs, sugar) and never gain a freakin' ounce. She can LOOK at it and gain. UUUGH

OMG Jill,
I could put Emm's name in here or even ME. Being on WW at 7 and everything I could find. And my parents did everything they could to find an answer for me. It's the same story for Emm. Up until January I had pretty much given up and just was going to wait for her to turn 16 to have a band put on.
Then we both got back on our ADD meds and we both realized what NOT being hungry is all about. She immediately saw a difference and started losing enough to realize that if she HELPED it along by eating healthier foods, it would come off faster. She even started walking at night on her own. Now if she doesn't take her meds on the weekend or if we forget, she still can keep the eating under control.
I pray that Viktoria can see some results and it will prompt her to help it along. Luckily Emm does eat some veggies. And when I make my veggie soup in chicken broth, all the yuck veggie taste disappears. See I hate veggies too.
Good luck and keep us posted. Maybe at some point Emm can meet or connect up with Viktoria since they are the same age and dealing with a lot of the same stuff.
