Good Morning TGIF! I'm on vacation til Wednesday once 4:30 gets here, I can't wait. We've going camping this weekend with the boys, one of their cousins and my MIL. Taking the boys out to enjoy nature WITHOUT electronic games, lol. We'll be walking, biking, playing games, and I'm bringing a book, couldn't ask for much more than this, well yes I can that the boys don't fight, lol.
Not much to say, I have hair color in my hair, red at that so hopefully I'm not to red after, lol. Better get moving.

Good morning. TGIF! Ready to not have to get up and go anywhere early the next 2 days. Today I have LOTS of folders to work on, then Spring Football game: ours boys for next yrs. team vs. themselves! My niece will be cheering, so going to see her.
Thank heavens there is only a few days of school left...today plus Monday thru Thursday next week. Wed. and Thurs. are 1/2 days at hs due to finals. Monday is the last regular day of school.
Tomorrow I have to start on food for next Saturdays graduation party for Ben. I'll just work on salsa and a few other things that I can get ready, plus haul a lot of stuff to my mom's house. We're doing a Chipotle bar like the restaurant w/ adobo chipotle chicken, beef fajita meat, rice, beans, cheese, 2 kinds of salsa, sour cream and then chili con queso and Chuy's green dip and chips. I bought Lawler's cheesecakes and will have brownies for dessert. Gonna have some margarita's and beer for grownups and tea and soft drinks for the kids.
Sunday is cap and gown day at church for Ben and the other srs.
Prayers for all who need them.

morning everyone,
gonna post real quick before I even get ready. Sometimes there is just no time at work but to read. I had a great conversation with Emm's principal yesterday afternoon and had to share (copied from my FB)
Becky Hagens Emm got COMMENDED on all her TAKS tests.. her principal (who hired me 20 years ago for the first job I had when I got married ) told me today - he thinks of her like a daughter, gave her his home phone, email and cell. said she is brave, mature, extremely intelligent and he will be a reference at any point especially to get her into college or for scholarships! that is better than any award.
So Emm is still at school. Had a lockin there last night. Poor teachers, there were 16 girls all night. OY.
No real plans for the day or weekend. Have to work on my annual review paperwork. Always have to do that a couple months early. I hate those things. Last year I had my review the morning before I headed up for the BBQ in july. Looks like I will be doing that again this year.
Working hard and appreciating that I have a job, just wishing I was appreciated back. Sure wouldn't take much to make my whole attitude change on that. But I KNOW I am putting my heart and soul into it, so that's the only thing I can ask for.
Emm will head to my parents sometime this weekend. She is so anxious to go which I love. It's wonderful she has them and has a place to go that is different.
Okay clock is ticking way too fast. Must get going and out the door. Prayers to so many and blessings to the rest. Love you so much more than my scale!

I didn't have a very good night. The gas from the lap surgery was hanging around and poking my shoulder all night. Felt like an elephant was stepping on me. Not fun! Good thing I'm still on vacation because I see naps in my future for sure.
Nothing special for the weekend...Saturday morning gym time and Sunday is DH's birthday. Other than that I plan to continue in vacation mode...rest and relaxation.

Yuck Tawyna, sorry the gas is sitting in your shoulders. I remember that happening to me on one of my female surgeries and I couldn't describe it very well, I actually felt paralized, I couldn't pick myself up. The elephant sitting on the shoulders sounds right. Ok my trick that helped me is roll your shoulders backward and forward multiple times a day, it seemed to move the gas out of my shoulders when I felt it.
