Places to shop?

Okay for the past 20 years I have had to shop at plus sized stores... The good news is I can no longer wear their sizes!!! The bad news is I don't know where to shop now! I have picked up a few things at Kohls and I got several really cute sundresses (size L) at Steinmart yesterday but I'm just overwhelmed. So where are your favorite places to shop????

Macy's downtown Houston was one of my favorite places before we moved. I also shopped allot at Catos. I'm kinda stumped on shopping here, I hate the mall but might have to venture there soon, I need new clothes. We are FINALLY getting a Kohls here I like shopping there too.

Paige, if you aren't comfortable in a bigger crowd and lots of stores (it can be overwhelming) Kohls, Steinmart, and TJ Maxx are good places to start then venture into the mall.

For so long I avoided the mall because it was depressing that Lane Bryant was about the only place I could shop with the exception of the plus size departments at Dillards and Macys.... and even then it didn't mean that their clothes would even fit me!!! I thought it would be exciting to beable to go just about anywhere to shop... but it can be a bit overwhelming!! I haven't really ventured into the mall yet... but I will eventually. I guess maybe more then anything I still see myself as plus sized!!

I'm Alissa and I'm a Kohl's addict... lol. Its big enough that it overwhelmes me sometimes so you know I'm not big on the mall! I do love New York and Company though as well. That's in the mall. Honestly I buy alot at Target and Wal-Mart. I LOVE Christopher and Banks-their sales are great!

I started out at Dress Barn on the OTHER side when I got out of plus sizes. It was weird to turn left instead of right. I personally like their sizes and how their things fit.

Kohls is one of my favs but I like Ross, Burlington coat factory, Belk, Target and even Walmart. I have been finding some really good deals at the mall too.............I just shop every where I can but I bargain shop where ever I am at..........but I do splurge on things too.....I figure I have deserved it....lol!!

I'm glad you asked this question. I thought I would love shopping when I could wear smaller sizes but I absolutely hate it. LOL I still can't find anything that I really like that I think looks good on me. I am thinking what I need to do is take someone with me that will be honest. My 14 year old doesn't like anything I like so that is a waste of time plus if we aren't shopping for her then shopping is miserable.LOL
