OK....

I have 2 dogs

1 4lb chihuahua named Gizmo.  She is little, but she does not have little dog complex.  She THINKS she is a great dane.   She even puts her daddy in his place.  ( That is her picture on my profile).

1 10lb chihuahua named Cujo.  He got his name when he was a puppy and tried to chew through his mesh carrier.  All you could see were his teeth and it reminded me of the book cover.  He is Gimoz's daddy.

I have 3 cats:

Boots -a brown tabby.  He is old (12 years) and very expensive.  He  cost me about 2300 when he went into kidney failure.... so he is my treasure.  :)

Smokey - a fat, gray cat who is my own personal albatros.  She is a very spiteful old girl.

Tigger - Boots's twin.   She is frequently confused for Boots.  The only difference is the white spot on Boot's nose.

My dach-son (or dachsund) is named Oscar (as in Oscar Mayer Weiner! LOL!).  I call him "baby boppers" or "baby" as nicknames.  He truly is my best friend!  He sleeps cuddled up to me at night and keeps me warm. :)  I love him...

This is neat. I'm late but I want my babies mentioned.

Both are rescue dogs. We had Sammy first. He's a little over 3 now. He's our 95 lb Labradoodle and thinks he's a lap dog. He's obsessed with his tennis ball and the swimming pool.  I call him Sammerz or My Puppy or he's also known as our baby.

Gidget we have had about 4 months now. She's about 22 lbs and the vet thinks she's a cross between a Schnauzer (sp) and a Yorkie Poo so they call her a schnorkie.  She's somewhere between 2 and 4 yrs old. We call her Gidgie, Gidg or Houdini only because when we first got her she was always trying to escape the back yard that was fenced in. She succeeded 2 times but we got her back both times. Now she loves us and wants to stay with us. She loves to burrow under the covers and sleeps by my legs at night.

We love our dogs to pieces and would never trade them for the world.

Great post and enjoyed all the stories!

We have just one cat- Ursa Minor (Latin for Little Bear). His Mama left him on our porch when he was 4 weeks old! Started eating regular cat food immediately and has never stopped! He weighs between 17 and 20lbs! His nicknames are Ursa Major, Urs, Fatboy, Pud and Pudpie! He isn't a lap cat but is a real sweetie and loves his catnip!
