in order from oldest to youngest we have
mrs Scoggins - known as scoggy or anti social cat (she is still pissed at me over boarding her after the fire 2 1/2 YEARS ago - it was my fault youknow just ask her) she eats only dry cat food, sandwiches with meat and cheese and cantalope - she tends to be called scoggy - named after the teens preschool teacher

Heleman - 110 pounds of black lab that thinks he is a lap dog - also known as helamonster and H - he was about 8-9 months when we resuced/adopted him and were told he was full grown - the vet laughed at me while telling me he still had at least a year of growth

moroni - our grey garfeild - he was a feral resuce that I hand raised after losing a baby and needing something small and snuggly - he thinks he is a dog/person but NOT a cat - also known as baby boy

Alma/fur face - our 3/4 seal pointed ragdoll who lives up to the breed discription - he is a month younger than Rach and loves her, he loves to lay on her, chew on her toes and fingers and bat at her though the baby gate on the stairs

we also have a 2 yo beta fish named Fish - who is a miricle b/c no fish in history has ever lived this long in our house -

oh and the green tank - ie fish tank I suck at tending on the counter - lots of live things including the alge eater I left inside of a castle I pulled out while cleaning the tank - he breathed air for at least 10 mins - I found him he wouldn't fall out over the tolet (figured he was dead) so I tossed him and the castle back in - out he came a little worse for the wear a few days latter

that woudl be our current zoo

Well we have my adopted son and Alissa's archnemisis: Cisco Snickers Dolittle, Snickers for short though he was recently given the nickname Piglet after the 2 year old daughter of a friend asked "where's that piglet"  Being she has probably only been around full sized guide dogs this was extremely funny.  He is  full size dachshund with a dash of mountain goat.  He can somehow climb on top of the kitchen table and into the sink via the couch and bar.  He has an addiction to her pillows and blankets and has recently grown very attached to the afgahn.  He also has a notion to sit on his butt like a meerkat when begging without the support of his legs.

We have 2 Chihuahua's...his and mine! Chico, aka Little Man, is almost 5. He's supposed to be a Chi but I sometimes have my doubts! He's one of the scardiest dogs we've ever had...he squeals like a little girl when he's scared! He was sort of rescued from a puppy mill so there's no telling exactly what he is but it was definately hard headed. DH is definately his favorite, always has been. And it's so cute because up until Chico, DH tolerated all my critters but was never attached to any of them. That changed the day we got His Highness!

I got my precious Sophie Grace, aka Soapie, mainly because Chico wouldn't have anything to do with me and I was lonesome!  haha She is a little over 3 years old and afraid of nothing! She's very well mannered and with me 24/7. We talk and sew and have a high old time! LOL!

We also have cats. Although I'm a dog person first, I do like having an outside cat. Good thing because we seem to be the dump of place. Our current cat showed up a couple of months ago pregnant! She had the kittens in our attic the weekend our house flooded. One of the kittens fell down into the wall and DH ripped out half my kitchen getting him out. I have a feeling he'll be staying! The other two are sort of skittish but sweet when you can catch them. I'm hoping to get them all in one place this week for a trip to the vet!

I also have 3 aquariums.... a 120 gal. sal****er, 58 abd 75 gal fresh water. I won't go into all the names involved but believe me....every fish, crustacean and coral has a name!

Before I started traveling full time we had two Shih Tzu's Hero and Molly. I miss my dustmops! A little story about Hero - he and Molly found themselves living with a new mommy who had recently lost her fur baby. This lady has custody of her mentally challenged 14 year old granddaughter. Not long after Hero joined their household he woke up his new mommy barking like crazy in the middle of the night. Grandma tried to shush him but he was relentless and kept barking and running to the living room where much to the grandmother's surprised the 14 year old was trying to go out the front door. Hero lived up to his name for sure that night. Now my only pet is 6'0 and pretty chunky. On a good day I call him King, on a silly day I call him Lovey Dovey Buggy and on a bad day I have lots of "special" pet names not suitable for publication. He prefers King Daddy and quite often answers the phone that way!

My precious little girl is named Millie.  We also call her Millie Girl and Millie Vanillie.  I never dreamed a dog could mean so much to me or touch my heart like she has.

I love posts that make you smile.

We have two male greyhounds that were rescued.

Flyte - 9 years old, black.  Very quiet and calm, until I come home.  Then, wherever I go, he goes.

Pride - 3 years old, tan.  You can't keep him still.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

We have one cat named Tony. He is an orange tabby and just turned a ripe old age of 14 in April. So that makes him what?....56 in cat years? LOL Poor thing...he is waiting on his Senior Kittizen discount at Petsmart. LOL

He swears he is human and not feline. He sleeps in our bed with his head on his own lil pillow and covered with a blankie.  LOL

Over the years....we have given him a few nicknames like Munson-Moaner for when he cries to go outside (he is strictly an indoor cat) and just plain Moaner or just plain Munson.

Recently, we have given him the new nickname Of Snags or Snaggy Daggy as I call him. Last year we discovered he lost one of his pointed canine teeth. Every time he finishes licking his face, the one side of his mouth where the tooth is missing seems to get stuck in this weird lil sneer expression, sort of like an Elvis sneer where one side of his lips is raised. And Tony's mouth will stay like that if we don't fix it for him. LOL Sooooo....we call him Snags.

Here he is outside admiring the green grass outside last Spring. On occasion we take him outside to roll around in the grass and lay int he sun, which he loves to do.

Ok, we have a few as well.  We have been cat people for 20 years but I finally convinced DH that it was wrong not to let our boys decide if they liked or didn't like dogs so he finally caved and we adopted a  black lab puppy.  He is Thor!  He is 6 mos old now and apx 50lbs (like having a new born in the house I swear)...
Then we also have J.J.  he is a 11 year old tonkinese cat (looks just like the cat on the early episodes of charmed). He thinks he is human as well and his nick name is old man.  He sleeps by my feet UNDER the covers.
We have a seal point rag doll as well his name is Khiah.  He is stupid like a big ole line backer that has been hit in the head too many times.  Just about as graceful as well.
I read Danni's post and didn't realize we have the same breed of animals... the rag doll and black lab.. too funny!
They are great pets for sure...
