Jodie got us started yesterday and I posted a little, but since I know most of us weren't glued to our TMB (Really?  why not?), I thought I would post MMWI, Tuesday edition, for all of you who would like to keep up your weight and share what's going on.  (How'd ya like THAT runon sentence??)

I had a rather calm and sedate weekend, so I am ready to get rolling.

Oh... alriiight.  I saw Jodi's post yesterday and didn't want to post since I hadn't lost an ounce.  Today is exactly the same as the last 2 weeks - 161.6.  I saw 160.4 again earlier in the week but then bounced right back up.  I guess the 150's will have to wait another week (or 2).  I would like to see it before we leave on vacation, but if not then no biggie.

Usually vacations caused me to gain 3-5 pounds (pre-op) but I am not worried about that this time.  I am going to stock up on the OSTrim meat sticks for the road and we will be doing a lot of hiking so that should make up for all the eating out we will be doing.  I do a lot better eating out post-op anyway - just stick to protein first and try to eat as slow as possible.

Speaking of new decades....... look who is fixing to hit the 140's !!!!

Well I got on scale this morning and lost 3.2 lbs since beginning this preop diet.  I'll take all the help I can get at this point.

Thanks.  Trisha keeps me grounded to doing what I need to do.  She cooked the best Braised Pork with Apples and onions yesterday.  It was so good.  We bought a cook book called Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery by Patt Levine and Michele Bontempo-Saray.  On page 100 of this book is the most delicious recipe for porkloin.
Trisha is bound and determined to give me flavor and still help me lose my weight.  She is such a God send for me.  If you don't have this book, you need to get it.  she bought ours on Amazon.com.

Hugs, Deborah
